Nice picture! Thank you for that information. Do you know in which countries it will be released theatrically?

Hm that fake hair is a bit too female (expecially in combination with that extremely tanned make-up). But hey, seeing Dolph on the big screen would be so great! Last (and only) time I saw one of his movies at a cinema was Rocky IV.

THE INQUIRY will be screened in Hollywood at the Los Angeles-Italia festival (http://www.losangelesitalia.com/) on February 20th... and is to be followed by a Q&A with director Giulio Base, Daniele Liotti, and Dolph Lundgren!!!!

And by the way, I know it doesn't mean much yet with only 19 votes, but so far the film has got excellent ratings on IMDB...

And believing from this italian article (http://www.adnkronos.com/3Level.php?cat=Spettacolo&loid=1.0.676259162) Fox would be planning on releasing it theatrically on 500 screens in the US (no release date though)!!!

Apparently, the US release date is April 6th, Fox Faith Movies (20th Century Fox new label) (http://www.foxfaithmovies.com/index.php) is gonna release it under the lame title THE FINAL INQUIRY (why did they bother adding "final"?!)

Good to have Dolph back in theatres! Foxfaiths first release was out on Friday. The Last Sin Eater opened in 429 theatres, with only Henry Thomas and Louise Fletcher as its star names. I'd guess that The Inquiry will get a bigger release as it's a bigger budget film with bigger names in it. I'd imagine 500-1000 theatres.

This can only be good news for Dolph getting a higher profile in the states again. It'll help widening his own films in their releases, whether that means more DVD's released to compete harder with Van Damme and Snipes for head DTV guy, or to get limited releases for his own work. I'd hope that DD could be considered thanks to it's US-China co production, and further down the line MM and TD (please make this, me and Jox know why). Dolph's latest films aren't being made straight out as being DTV, so hopefully that'll mean he can chase distributers. They'll be good enough too with Dolph controlling his career now. The recent Rocky buzz also helps. We might just be seeing a Dolph renaissance coming. I've got no doubts his best films are yet to come.

Pretty huge news if this pans out. It would be great to see Lundgren back on the big screen.

Only problem is that is the same day that GRIND HOUSE is supposed to be released here in the states. I'll find a way to make time for both.

Great News Dolph Lundgren going to theaters in the U.S :)

Postby Warchild on 16 Feb 2007, 05:52

For the first in 15 years Dolph Lundgren is going to be in U.S theaters, is latest movie The Inquiry, in the U.S called The Final Inquiry will be shown in some major U.S cities.

As a Dolph Fan don't miss this movie, let us go out in full force and support Dolph and hopefully this movie will do well enough in theaters and someone will notice how great of an actor Dolph as become since he came back from retirement. :)

I'll definitely see it.

Though in looking at the Foxfaith site it now says the THE FINAL INQUIRY is "coming soon" instead of showing the date of release being April 6th, 2007. Hopefully it'll still be released in theaters that day. It would make sense since it's Good Friday.
