You might want to put a SPOILER WARNING before you drop a bomb like that. Still, thanks for the review...

The budget was about $10 million so it is not "Gladiator" but it's much more than all Dolph's movie budgets in the last 10 years and shows quite good production value although it's true it could need more.

I thought everybody did know that Dolph is dying in this movie!!!!

I knew it but I was waiting everybody had seen it before openly talking about it.

Now here's a great review of The Inquiry for Amazon!
The producers try to class up the joint by casting F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus) as Tabitha's father and Max von Sydow (The Seventh Seal, Hannah and Her Sisters), but it's actually Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV) as the envoy's German slave who makes the strongest impression--his mammoth frame and melancholy eyes suit the Biblical milieu perfectly. --Bret Fetzer

It's like "Johnny Mnemonic" all over again except the movie isn't to be bashed and yet again it's Dolph who steals the show!!!

So if you haven't had enough of "Missionary Man" well only 4 weeks later you know what to do when comes the even longer anticipated "Inquiry"! (when I come to think about it it's a shame because now everything comes out at the same time and then we might have to wait for at a year or two before the next DL project arrives...

Here's a short Dolph interview, in regards to the upcoming US release of THE INQUIRY on DVD, although not much is said about the film. But since I am the one who helped Fox's publicist to get in touch with him I'm almost certain this interview is here thanks to me!

He does a good turn in his role, and says very little but offers the right presence in each scene that underscores his strength. His quiet performance as the loyal servant is actually one of the better things about the movie.

Fox is somewhat trying to get audiences (mainly Christians) to embark for The Inquiry's journey by giving it its own little OFFICIAL SITE:
http://www.finalinquirydvd.com/

Some links don't work properly but we should get a few extras like small interviews...

BTW the Italian DVD is finally coming out in March but unfortunately doesn't seem to feature the extended TV version...

Now there's a REALLY GOOD 2-pages interview, starts off with "The Inquiry" (*spoiler* for those who are new) then more general stuff that goes more in depth than usual...

Boy am I glad I hooked up Fox's publicist with Dolph, here's another good interview (including some more about "Icarus" which sounds bloody awesome to me!)...

Although we waited a long time for "The Inquiry" to come out in the US and it didn't get the theatrical release it should have, it's good for both pictures that the DVD is coming out around the same time as MM...

Some good stuff again. Icarus sounds like it could be excellent. I wonder if Icarus is indeed the next directing gig in Russia and Bulgaria, or whether there's another project beforehand. Sounds to me like he might direct something else before Icarus gets off the ground.

Think your right Tom. Sounds like Dolph has one more directing gig before Icarus gets of the ground. Also, Icarus sounds like it is to be set in the states... I know that does not mean it will be filmed there, but anyway.
He is keeping busy!
He also said he is trying to get a theatrical picture, but that he has a long way to go.
To me, its great that he is still putting in the effort.

Dolph rocks!

He seems to have so many projects in development it's confusing to keep up with which is what, but this means lots of promising stuff! 8)

I just finished to see it, the nordic dvd version. It's an okay movie, i was interested because of the idea and Dolph.
I wasn't desspointed but it's just a tv movie and that'll all about the production, but Dolph part is nice and challenging.
