Sounds quite holy, doesn't it? Just like "Das Jesus Video" which was shot down there, too. It's difference is that you won't have a time machine changing things etc.

@ khurram112: Do you mean the Roman man Tiberius Gracchus who was the folk's tribune at that time and who was anxietiously killed by henchmen of the senat? If, then I wonder, because I think he lived about a hundred years before the birth of Jesus. Do they mention the conflict between "Pontius Pilatus" (dunno right now if it's "Pilate"...) and Jesus anyway?

Acocrding to the cast list for The Inquiry, Ben Kingsley will appear in the film. Now it's not a reliable source by any means because any old joe schmo could have put it on there, but I hope it is true. I won;t hold my breath but it would be the icing on the cake for a fantastic cast already.

that's right! I didn't pay attention to that! It would be fantastic indeed, even though it doesn't mean too much because Kingsley hasn't been very demanding lately: Bloodrayne, Sound of Thunder and Thunderbirds...

I know, theoretically he might do it when you consider he's willing to work with Uwe Boll, plus there's some interesting themes in the iflm that might appeal to him. Certainly it's possible he;s been borught on late on the picture but that may mean if he;s in it he won;t have any scenes with Dolph. I'm keeping my fingers crossed in anycase because it would add some interest to the picture. Kingsley's official site is no help as it hasn't updated since september.

It would be great if it's true. Kingsley will pretty much do any movie for the right price so it's not all that out of the realm of possibility. Definitely a rumor to keep an eye on.

I'm wondering what the budget is, considering that it's an epic, the cast and the length of the shoot (more than 2 months, that is more than the now usual 4 weeks allowed to a Dolph picture). It might be between $15 and 30 million...

I was just thinking about that. This one might actually make it to sweden, being a big European production. Maybe it can premiere at Stockholm Filmfestival this fall with Dolph attending the screening (Now I´m just dreaming.)
