Well I am!!!! Very familiar!!!

Like the "waiting around" part in "The Defender" when the team are all waiting while Roberta is in the meeting with Jamar. Cmiral really pulls out the "seventies porn music" in that scene. Strange scene...

Modern porn rarely has any music... Things change.

Yeah that's probably the weakest cue from this score, which is not from Cmiral but Swedish award winning composer Adam Norden...

FYI about the porn subject: for "The Mechanik", Lundgren gave as an indication to his cinematographer the intsruction that he wanted it to look like a "western porn"

My bad. You are, of course, correct. It was Adam Nordén who brought that porn vibe to the Defender. And Cmiral who did it to Missionary Man (as if the title of the movie wasn´t enough).

Nope. This was in a PDF magazine from the Australian Cinematographers Society:
Dolph was good to work with, he was directing as well and very open to suggestions, we got along very well together... I asked Dolph how he wanted the film to look... he finally said like a western porno. Hmmm OK... I decided to put as much colour as possible all around the place, we did a bleach bypass on the opening, Dolph liked it so much that he added the effect over the whole opening... with some good and bad results. It seems now that the company (Nu Image) will do a digital intermediate for the films but unfortunately the colorist crushed the blacks too much in some scenes. The first time I get to see the finished film is when I buy it from the shop.

It was later confirmed in my Clarkson interview...

Well... this is getting philosophical.

What kind of movie is a star's movie for his true fans? Why do you watch his movies? Is it because you think that the stories are so extraordinary? No. It is because of pure pleasure. So what does this make his movies for us die hard fans, no matter which gender or orientation?

Did I miss something or how did we get there? I'm confused, maybe this could be in another topic...

Today, Dolph will also participate to a discussion panel at the AFI festival on the following theme:

3:30 p.m.
LISTENING TO THE CROWD: How Much Does the Audience Influence the Artist’s Voice?
As much as filmmakers try to shield themselves from the slings and arrows — or on the flip side — the adulation of the audience, they can’t help but be influenced by the people who view their work. We’ll look at the varying ways and different degrees that filmmakers keep their audiences in mind…as well as the dangers that either withering criticism or fawning applause can bring.

Moderator: Chris Vognar, Entertainment Writer Dallas Morning News Panelists: Michael Addis, Producer/Director, “Heckler”; Dolph Lundgren, Actor/Writer/Director, “Missionary Man”; and Jewel, Musician/Actress.

WTF?

I have NO idea what you just wrote there... I´m not being rude, I honestly don´t understand AT ALL what you are asking.

Are you asking what a Dolph Lundgren movie means to us fans in the sense that, if you are an action fan there are bigger and more well made action movies, if you like drama there are better and more wellacted drama movies etc. Like, why do we keep watching Dolph movies when there are "better (not really)" movies in the genre?

Are you asking why someone is a fan of ANY movie star at all? Like, psychiologically, what makes someone be a fan of something?

Or have you been drinking?

(If you have... Good for you! Drinking is awesome!)

Wow, cool pic! Could he be growing his hair longer for the role of the drummer in Command Performance?
