Yeah, but when does Dolph make a film in the IMDB top 250?

I agree with you Jox.
My point was that Dolph seems to be on his own artistically.
it´s obvious that people want to spend their money on Dolph.
He is not alone in that sense.

But the people spending their cash on Dolph knows that they will get their money back on basically anything with his name on the cover.

As for Tarantino; he is no god but it would help Dolph if he (or any popular director with good rep.) would praise the big guys work.

peace.

Well the Tarantino problem is, you spend 8 bucks on a Death Proof ticket, you don't get your money worth of entertainment.

You spend 8 bucks on a Russian Specialist DVD, you sure get your money worth. I paid 4 bucks, but could have paid 24 bucks and still have been happy. Not so with Tarantino. Death Proof is not even worth a free download, that would be too much electricity wasted.

Apparently the site wasn't officially launched yet so when they took it down when it spread around the web, but hopefully it should be back for the film's release (I anticipate this fall or winter)...

YOUR IDEAL DVD COVER FOR MISSIONARY MAN

Postby Nathan on 06 Aug 2007, 13:39

Describe your ideal cover for Missionary Man - I'd have Dolph with a shot gun and possibly the bikers in the background but then I thought - nah thats too much like The Russian Specialist. Do I'd have Dolph perhaps on a bike, in black and white with a few vivid red blood splats here and there and a really cool font for the title - with A DOLPH LUNDGREN FILM above it lol

Anybody?

How about something kina of like T2 style with DL on the bike with shotgun........ and just maybe a long dirt road behind him - All done in a kinda of black & white colouring.

Oh yeah thats good, yeah thats great. I suppose that instead of in black and white you could do it in a really really really washed out and gritty colour like the look of the film so that people don't accuse it of ripping of the terminator covers.

Yeah true, if you had it in kind of a sandy cover that would work you know sort of dusty.

How about this?

The risk is to make it look like the promo for T2...though it would drag people's attention. But they would have problems regarding copyrights^^
The sandy-dusty cover sounds great, it would add a western style :)

Well, Rover, that is one hell of a start.

Did you draw that? That is some of the most kickass Dolph-Punisher fanart EVER!

That's pretty good - a nice sunset in the background to contrast with the black and a pair of shades for Dolph and you should submit it to Sony.
