Dolph should cast Graham Greene (Dances with Wolves).

I wish he could cast Wes Studi. That guy is a great actor.

Now that I think about it, Dolph might have been inspired the idea of MM by the 2004 French western comic book adaptation "Blueberry" (a.k.a. "Renegade" in the US)... It came out approx. at the time Dolph must have been working on the MM story so... Thus said I thought this movie was terrible but I hate the director Jan Kounen's ("Dobermann") style...

i thought the movie was cool. Vincent Cassel's perofrmance is sometimes ridiculous, but the directing is quite okay (I guess, i'm not a pro). The end (with some mystics images) is also ridiculous but "classic western" scenes are quite cool.

And missionary man storyboards looks amazing. as the locations.

It'll be great seeing Dolph riding a hog. I hope he casts Lorenzo Lamas, there's a part crying out for that biker dude mo-fo. Filming started on wednesday, if the 28th was accurate, so I wonder when any more cast will be announced. I watched The Mechanik again yesterday, and it still kicks ass. It's a well made action flick, and even then Dolph didn't have entirely free reign. MM could very well be too awesome to comprehend. One things for sure, I really hope he can get Ross Clarkson, or Maxim Alexandre as DP again. Hopefully he can also get Adam Norden or Elia Cmiral back to do the score. Although considering Andrea Morricone (son of Ennio) did the score for the Inquiry, maybe Dolph has made a connection there. It'd be great to have the son of perhaps the master of Western scores to do the music in Missionary Man.

Fingers crossed, but I think MM will be a doozy. Dolph seems to be going all out for this one, relishing being in total command of a film.

Yeah about the DP position, I think Clarkson is currently working for Florentine on the new JCVD "The Shepherd" so unless it's already wrapped which I don't think so, DL must have switched again hopefully with another good one. For sure Clarkson would have been great for this one since he already gave this great western feel to the MECHANIK... about the cast, i read something about some TV soap actor John Enos but I'm not sure if it's accurate... not too enthusiastic about the idea of Lamas though, would bring it down to a lower level... but I couldn't agree more with Norden or Cmiral for the score, but any case I think now we can trust Dolph on his choices and how he can bring the best of his crew...

Jox, why do you think Lamas would bring it down to a lower level? Guess he has a righer rep in the movie business than Dolph has right now, no? I think they might be a good team... or good enemies. ;) That would in fact be interesting. I don't think Lamas would be convincing as a bad guy. But imagine him as a good guy and Dolph as the bad one? Finally bringing back something of that good old Sgt. Scott feeling?

I'd simply like to see him play a small part, and get his ass handed to him by Dolph. I don't think you can think of a Harley without thinking Lorenzo Lamas, a sad curse Harley's have to endure.
