you can download the Hidden Agenda international trailer here, it's not the same as the US that is on videodective.com and it's from the Brazilian distributor of the movie so it's subtitled in portugese

I just saw it and it was a quite good surprise after the ugly Last patrol and Stormcatcher.

Fairly well photographed, Hidden agenda has a relatively developed story (such a point that I did'nt understand everything) and several good fight scenes with good choreography.
You just have to accept some effects of staging free and easy and approximating supporting actors and it looks without displeasure.
A standard Dolph (so cool). :)

As against, the french dvd only propose the dubbed version ... obviously bad. Indeed, it is decided, I stop the Lundgren dubbed.
It is unbearable when you have already heard his terribly powerful voice.

(Sorry for the traduction...)

Just watched it last night, what a masterpiece compared to AGENT RED, looks like a product of its time and not a decade prior, sophisticated script, cool score, nice cinematography and decent directing, one of the best Dolph efforts of the mate 90s early 2000s before he stepped up behind the camera.

Out of curiosity, the US DVD cover...

Image

It's clear that it's a photoshopped work (with the tank in the background and what not), but the picture of Dolph... Is that from another film, or was it in fact a production still shot for Hidden Agenda??

I wonder if it's worth getting this new German one, the R1 dvd I have is so low budget.

Which R1 do you have, the Lionsgate one? I think it's decent (apart from not being 16/9 but it's letterboxed in original 1.85:1 aspect ratio).

is this worth it? Anamorphic?

Good question, I've been wanting to test that one out for a while... Otherwise the Italian one is anamorphic (the US is 1.85 OAR but 4/3 letterboxed)
