I disagree with both of you...

I found it mediocre. Nothing special in either case, it's certainly better then such duds as Last Warrior,Captured,Sweepers and Fallen Knight but it's pretty much routine stuff. Not as good as Hidden Agenda and the villians were annoying.

anybody know if detention is preview to be released in France ?
is there a French dubbed version on the dvd ?
When will be "direct action" released in USA ?
and two general questions : 1) is that true that Dolph have made a arm-wrestle ( bras-de-fer ) with the belgian actor Benoit Poelvoorde ?
2) do you hate French ? ( itsn't compulsory to answer this one , and it's not compulsory to answer the thers , but I think the last is maybe harder !!!! )

Well, Sweepers wasn't one of his best but it was ok. My bf even thought it had a surprisingly deep and interesting story for a DL movie. ;) Last Warrior and Fallen Knight are the most boring DL movies I've seen.

Bomaz,

Did you say that the commentary is on the Region 2 disc? My French skills suck! LOL. But to answer Bomaz' question, no I do not hate the French. France helped the USA during the Revolutionary War and we have helped them in war too and other aid. I am sure the countries will continue their friendship as in the past. We are all brothers and sisters and I am sure even though our leaders get in squabbles, everyone makes up and gets over it! :)

Coming back to Detention: what's on the making of/featurette of the DVD? is it just B-Rolls takes on the German one? (see gallery here http://www.gmrmedia.com/dolph/dolph-in/makingof/detention/index.html

Jox i was really dissapointed as far as the "special features" go, it says "access the special features for DETENTION by pressing the menu key on your dvd player,s remote control " we pressed and pressed but got nothing, zilch jack shit ,it has nothing. :( the only option it has is ENGLISH/FRENCH language.
