I think his voice is good for Dolph but only if you don't know Dolph's real voice. Dolph's voice can be so much gentler than Manfred Lehmann's. Here's a sample:

There it is! That´s the voice I was talking about!

Hm... ask Google ("Sprecher Van Damme"): Charles Rettinghaus. Never heard that name before but yes, the voice is famous. Look at the other names on his list: Matt Dillon, John Cusack, Vin Diesel (VIN DIESEL??? Did they ever check his real voice??), Wesley Snipes, Robert Downey jr. and others:

There is a search function on that website. They seem to list a lot of speakers, so if you wonder about other actors, just try it.

Thanks for the info! Please let us know if the quality (both sound and picture) is good.

Could you please tell if there's an age rating on the DVD?

The quality is quite good, except the fact that it's in 4/3 pan & scan (full screen) so not the original aspect ratio... There is a 15 rating so you can watch it without asking your parents Mosquito .

So... the one titled "Ironman" is actually in English?

PostPosted: 14 Sep 2007, 00:14

Yes, it's in english because they don't dub movies in Scandinavia (lucky ones)... Just beware there's a terrible French bootleg/unofficial one also under the "Iron man" title, don't buy it!

Yeah no problems! I have used the company twice and had no problems with them.

Scans of the back and front cover can also be displayed at the website.

"Just do it...or die" Nike should use this as a new catchphrase :)

Image Is this the cover for an official edition? Anyone knows?^^

PostPosted: 14 Sep 2007, 16:38
by Jox
No it is NOT an official edition, it's a French bootleg/unofficial edition mastered from the old French dubbed VHS (only thing interested about it is the correct 1.85 image aspect ratio)... You can see that even the cover was copied from the Polygram Video VHS... As a general advice: NEVER buy DVDs with logos like "Integral" or "Supra Vision" on the cover

but the worse, absolutely to avoid is this one (taped from TV and cropped):

I tried to order Pentathlon, Sweepers and I come in Peace and they said either these movies never made into DVD or they stop print here in North America. I got all is movies on DVD excepet these ones which are very hard to find and i can't get it, I also never seen these 3 movies.

Does Dolph have any DVD that has a triple feature or double in one DVD maybe one of these movies are in it and i'll buy it?

"Pentathlon" & "I Come In Peace" did not make it to DVD in North America yet but Sweepers should be relatively easy to find (at least as a used copy).

The UK edition of Sweepers is region 0, so try that one.
