I wouldn't be surprised if some small distribution company search around for an "unclaimed" Dolph effort and release it on a fairly cheap dvd, disregarding quality or format or anything and slap a "star of The Expendables" sticker on it. I still haven't seen this.

I'm surprised they haven't released it on DVD except for Scandinavia, Taiwan and Germany. I wonder if there wouldn't be some legal issues about the rights or since Dolph owns part of it, if wouldn't have bought the other rights back (not being happy with the film). Or simply, since rights are usually licensed for 10/15 years, they expired and no distributor bothered renewing them because not only I don't think it did very good at the time but it has the bad reputation of being a stinker.

Vern covers PENTATHLON in his EXPENDABLES countdown (and weirdly enough, finds it pretty good)

I don't know why he has to narrate the whole movie. But I can see why he likes Pentathlon. Dolph has a beautiful hairdo in it.

He always does it but with his own sense of humor, it's supposed to be funny...

Jox, or anyone that may know.

Is the releases of this that are on DVD in English or is a guy best off purchasing the laser disc and making his own "dvd"?

Don't buy the German or French bootleg, they're not in english.

The only decent DVD in English is the Scandinavian edition, if you can find it, as it is out of print...

Gosh, 43 seconds intro and then the guy is so annoying that I had to stop after 15 more seconds. Wish he'd talk in a normal way.

I always laughed at how the cover used an obvious image from Universal Soldier of Dolph...

Speaking of which, anybody know where I can get a DVD of Pentathlon, one that will work in the US? Bootleg or not?
