In the Netherlands from November 22

As for France, if they follow the usual dates for ROCKY films and if it gets some kind of theatrical release, I assume that this would come out sometime in January 2022...

I gotta say I get pumped everytime I watch that Director's Cut trailer... this maybe one of the few times I add an older film to my collection if this cut is as good as it appears to be.

Apparently the third guy up for the part of Ivan Drago was the late wrester Kerry Von Erich:

Oh wow. KVE would never have worked for that part in a million years  . I guess Stallone had him up against Dolph for that futuristic vision of what a male athlete would look like down the road. I'm guessing Dolph had the role once they decided against using Nikita.

Just got the DC press release notes and here's what it says about the presentation:
Plus, the iconic Rocky opening banner (with the screen-filling title crawl moving from the right side of the screen to left) and classic end titles are now included. Among the boosted technical specs are remastered Dolby ATMOS (which places each voice, instrument, or sound detail in its own space to add clarity and depth, and elevating ROCKY VS. DRAGO’s music and aural atmosphere) as well as Dolby Vision Home Entertainment. The film will be presented for the first time in wide screen format (2.39:1).
ROCKY VS. DRAGO also features some new versions of the film’s music — including clean, alternate takes of composer Vince DiCola’s exciting score and songs by James Brown, Survivor, John Cafferty, and others.

EDIT:
“There were takes from the film that I hadn’t seen since 1985 — it was so much footage, it was hard to wrap my head around,” says Stallone. “It was all there. I knew that I now could take the audience in a different direction, using sound and a new cutting pattern. Even in terms of its color: I wanted the Russian training sequence to be in a bluer, colder tone. And the final fight is now in more realistic color tones.”

moderate violence, bloody images

ROCKY IV: ROCKY VS. DRAGO (DIRECTOR'S CUT) is a sports drama in which an American boxer competes against a Russian opponent.

Ratings info (May contain spoilers)

violence
There are prolonged boxing scenes, which include repeated blows to the head and body. There is some injury detail and blood in the aftermath of violence.

injury detail
There are brief blood spurts after boxers are punched in the face.

It is implied a boxer is given a performance enhancing drug while training. A boxer dies as a result of injuries sustained in a fight, and this is followed by a funeral scene. There is also brief emphasis on a female dancer wearing a revealing costume, and very mild bad language ('butt', 'hell', 'damn', 'God').
