Excerpt from an early treatment where at the beginning Apollo sets up a promotional fight for Rocky vs. a Japanese martial artist (sounds like the Hulk Hogan fight in ROCKY III)

Any new info about ROCKY 5, 6 4k in the future ? I heard here that Stallone is preparing Dir. Cut of ROCKY 6 (Balboa). I was always wondering did DL ever got paid for using his footage in the intro of Rocky 5. What are the policies about using someone visual looking in a different movie. Or footage of DL from Unisol in Postman 1997) directed by Kevin Costner

I still think the DC rumor about ROCKY V and VI is bogus but people believe what they wanna believe...

Not sure but my guess is every case is different depending on how the deals are negotiated, what the studios demand etc

Arranged by Leigh Phillips, conducted by Diego Navarro and performed at the Auditorium of Tenerife by the CPMTFE-CSMC FIMUCITÉ Youth Symphony Orchestra, composed of students from the Professional Music Conservatory of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and of the Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands this landmark world premiere concert featured Vince on keyboards performing his compositions from the film.

This is an EP presentation for physical music collectors and fans of Vince DiCola. The program runs just over 20 minutes but is priced to reflect this.

EDIT:
Vince DiCola:
Hello fans and friends,
Many of you have reached out asking if my Rocky IV: The Symphonic Rock Suite will ever be available. I'm happy to report at long last you can pre-order it today. It was one of the greatest pleasures of my life to be able to perform it with the CPMTFE-CSMC Fimucité Youth Symphony Orchestra at the 13th Annual Fimucité Festival in Tenerife Spain in 2019. I have to thank from the bottom of my heart my friends Diego Navarro, Pedro J. Mérida & Ana Molowny for helping us get this out as well as Kenny for mastering this to make it sound fantastic. And thank you to Bryon Davis & Peter Hackman at Notefornote Music. This album will be up digitally to coincide with the new Rocky IV Director's Cut on November 12th. I have agreed to sign the first 50 CD orders in case you are interested in getting a signed copy.

So Greta Gerwig genuinely loves Stallone and the ROCKY movies, this interview is almost all about Sly...
https://uproxx.com/movies/greta-gerwig- ... -stallone/
Rocky IV is just one long training montage.

The best! But I do think that sort of gleeful discovery was another thing that we wanted to sort of imbue this movie with, that sort of quality of stumbling upon it and being like, “Wait a minute, we can run with this.”

On a personal side note, I'm so glad for Gerwig's success, I've loved her since I (and prob most people) discovered her in the brilliant Ben Stiller/Noah Baumbach "dramedy" GREENBERG (2010)...

RIP , Dear Burt Young. Only on Saturday I started a marathon watching ROCKY movies. Last night I finished with Rocky V. Today will be ROCKY BALBOA. So unexpected to read this today. His performance in the first movie really deserved an Oscar, in sequels they never used his full talents in my opinion. I wlll always remember him as a good actor from The Pope of Greenwich Village, Once Upon a Time in America, Back to School, Betsy;s Wedding, North Star television work in Columbo, The Last Don etc.

Actually he passed away on October, 8. Nobody knew. I saw an interview with him on red carpet for Creed 2. Looked like he was paralyzed or had some neurotic problems. He had a very sad faith losing his wife so early, raising alone his only child. I guess Stallone attended his funeral.. So sad that this generation is leaving... In 10 years we will be so poor... the best will be gone and i do not see stars of this range anymore. Generation of real filmmaking. What a pity.

The upcoming SLY documentary seems to include a little behind the scenes footage from ROCKY IV. Also wonder if they interviewed Dolph for it...
