Currently listed as the 9th most patriotic movie of all time in the latest issue of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY. While it's certainly my favorite Rocky film, I have to admit that it plays more like "Rambo and boxer shorts" and "Super Rocky" more than anything else. I still love it though!

And yet like with RAMBO II, I believe deep down Stallone did actually meant to make a "patriotic" movie but his intentions have been lost in translation...

In any case ROCKY IV sure was a comic book take on the ROCKY saga and a duel of titans fantasy at the same title as Andrew Scott vs Luc Deveraux, He-Man vs Skeletor, John Matrix vs Bennett, Dutch vs the Predator etc...

Very "weird" photo I found. While directing Rocky 4, a crazy imposter actually jumped out of the audience and came towards me so I gave him just a little Tap before they escorted him away! Strange Days...

The guy actually appears to be the late Tony Munafo who was Sly's bodyguard (and then associate producer), inside joke probably...
