Well, here it is... The unofficial Dolph Lundgren podcast. This has been a long time in the making, but the first episode is now complete. My plan is to go in chronological order of the man's films. It should be uploaded to Itunes and Stitcher here in the next few days, but here is ROCKY IV now for your listening pleasure:

You can also check it out and listen on the "official" page for the show:

The show is still in its infancy stages, so please forgive the rocky start (no pun intended). I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing how the show progresses and evolves. Major thanks and props to the forum's own Moltisanti for joining me on the inaugural episode. I imagine he'll be joining me quite a few more times! :D

As of now, I have our very own Jox confirmed for MOTU, but I'm sure we can work something out for SHOWDOWN as we get closer. Thanks for the kind words!

Anyone seen "ROCKY VI", the 1986 parody of ROCKY IV by renown Finnish director Aki Kaurismäki?

Why Rocky IV Is The Most Underrated Christmas Movie Of All-Time
http://loaded.co.uk/why-rocky-iv-is-the ... -all-time/

If we were talking Dolph movies set around Christmas, I count ROCKY IV, DARK ANGEL/I COME IN PEACE, THE MINION, and DON'T KILL IT. Any other I missed ?

Famous photographer Nancy Ellison, who had shot promo photos of Dolph for ROCKY IV , MAXIMUM POTENTIAL, and MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, has a an exhibition opening in Palm Beach, FL on January 1,1 where two pieces of Lundgren will be shown, including this one below:

A couple of images feature Dolph Lundgren, best known for playing Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. One portrays him in boxing shorts by a punching bag.

Dolph Lundgren, who played Sylvester Stallone’s Russian opponent in Rocky IV, was “very smart,” photographer Nancy Ellison said. The Swedish actor dropped out of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was studying engineering on a Fulbright scholarship, to pursue acting.

The other was shot as Lundgren was leaving her studio in Venice one night. A car happened to pass by, catching him in its headlights and casting a bulky shadow on a wall smeared with graffiti. The image reminds Ellison of the gritty post-World War II films of Italian directors Roberto Rossellini, Vittorio De Sica and Federico Fellini.
