I've been wondering which solo Dolph vehicle will see the light of 4K first... Will it be RED SCORPION again? (It was the first to be released on DVD and then on standard Blu-ray.)

Red Scorpion is a safe bet, but i could see titles like The Punisher, Silent Trigger, Showdown in Little Tokyo or Masters of the Universe get a 4k from a company like Shout Factory.

SHOWDOWN and MASTERS being at Warner's in the US they're a little trickier, and TRIGGER is a little too "niche" and only released on standard Blu in Germany, threfore I'd bet more on SCORPION and PUNISHER, or perhaps even DARK ANGEL / I COME IN PEACE?

Shout Factory (or rather their sub-label, Scream Factory) has licensed quite some titles from Warner in the past few years. Silent Trigger is definitely a lot more niche, and that's exactly the reason why I mentioned it. It's always the films you'd least expect. Although a 4k release might be too much wishful thinking. I can definitely see it getting a 2k or 4k remaster for a US release (since it's only available on Blu-ray in Germany like you mentioned).

A (4k) Blu-ray release for Cover-Up, or better releases for films such as Men of War, Pentathlon, Blackjack would be great as well. But 4k releases for any of those is probably wishful thinking as well (especially Blackjack). Dark Angel would be the most likely I guess, I forgot that wasn't on 4k.

I really doubt about SILT and MOTU getting a 4k release from Warner Bros any soon. They didn't release any Seagal classic on 4K yet or Stallone classic movies on 4k - WB released this titles the very first of BLU RAY era and look very old dated today. MOTU could be the fist in their list, SILT was released relative fresh in 2015 and besides that the UNRATED CUT is available only overseas in full HD on digital platforms. I suspect both cuts of SILT have been prepared by WB about 2014 early 2015 (they have the same color scheme, very similar just 19 extra sec footage) and the next step is releasing the Unrated Cut for the first time in the US on the new disc, 2 cuts or something like that... tricks as usually they do.

Maybe 4K for Showdown in Little Tokyo Director;s Cut - original 90 minutes from Mr. Lester would be the real dream. Especially if they can edit SILT today on Contemporary Equipment make it fresh and quick like Stallone re edited Rocky 4. People will really like it, involving again David Michael Frank re-scoring and arranging it himself not like that guy did it in 1991 choppy and over repetitive in parts. THIS CUT HAS POTENTIAL IN MY OPINION. Better than any EX2 or EX3 , Bullet to the Head or other attempts to make again good action movies like in 90s...

I wonder why we do not see any deleted scenes from UNISOL on 4K beside well known alternate ending. DL scenes have been shortened drastically at the time of release. People would love to see that... Or Army of One in HD

No way Warner is gonna go for this for title as small as SILT, knowing how much it would cost and how they don't even wanna pay for special features. The only way Lester's cut can be release is as a workprint, since it was taken away from him way before post-production could be completed on it.

who knows miracles may happen sometimes ?! Never say never. No one expected to ever see Halloween 5 Alternate Cut or long lost Mandarin Cut (110 minutes) of The Big Boss (1971) starring Bruce Lee. This July is happening thanks to Arrow. Or lost log scene from Game of Death (1973) shot by Bruce Lee.

WB doesn't have that many "TRUE" action movies beside Stallone, Seagal, Gibson catalogs. SILT IS one of the few that never got right as a whole movie put together as a finished product. It is very evident by short running time 78 minutes and editing it was a desperate and unfinished work. Do anyone remember any action movie that runs this short ? No way, especially for a big company, in indies may happen,But for a company of this CALIBRE NEVER... Cobra (1986), Passenger 57(1992) could be another examples, but they at least have EXTENDED TV CUTS (OF COURSE CENSORED FOR VIOLENCE).
