Sad news today about Roy Scheider passing away. He did a good job in Peacekeeper, and of course did some classic films back in the 70's.

yeah, just heard this. Very sad. A morbid thought, but the only star left alive from Jaws now is Richard Dreyfuss.

Very sad indeed. I always liked his melancholic eyes.

That is so sudden, as those things happen most of the time, it's shocking although he was 75 already and was struggling with cancer...

Watched this last week, forgot to post.

This isn't too bad of a movie. Its serious, which is good for a start. Roy Scheider and Dolph are both good. The problem i have with it is that the bad guy should really be a henchman and not the main bad guy, he is nothing special!!!!

Good points, story is fine and Dolph looks cool, well, when he's not in the silver suit!!

Grade: 5/10

How good are the action scenes? Intense? More fighting than shootouts?

Not too good, to be honest. After seeing other Dolph's since, i would have to say that these are pretty lame. For action i would give it 4/10, for amount of action i would give it 7/10. So, there are alot of action scenes, but the quality is not good. More gun fights than hand-to-hand.

I think it was pretty decent and had good production value overall for what it is (wouldn't see a car chase like this one anymore). Actually after some projects were dropped, the director Frédéric Forestier went on to direct some big budget and successful movies in France.

Yep ... I saw on of his early works with jean reno, a "middle movie" (moyen metrage ?) or not so short movie. And he has directed the frnehc biggest budget flick ever (the magnificent, the wonderful Asterix at the olympic games), but Peacekeeper is still one of my favorites with Dolph, good ol' action flick.
