Melissa Smith, from the Pussycat Dolls, has been cast as singer Venus, and there's Hristo Shopov (Passion of the Crist, The Inquiry) too... and Eric Roberts.

Woho!

This is so great. He did a really good job in The Dark Knight.
Plus he is i name.
Wonder is Dolph took a pay cut to afford him.

I don't think he's so expensive.

But in the Aziz BG show, Dolph kinda jokingly says he's invested some of his own money on the film so I don't know how much of it is true but it's not unlikely...

That's good. I'm looking forward to this movie. It's got a good cast and I think Sony would be foolish not to give it at least the same treatment as Missionary Man. I'm sure Dolph will promote this movie like hell and I hope he and the choreographer work out a great complex fight for him and Eric Roberts. By the way, what are the actual chances of them facing off in the climax?

I'm not even sure Eric Roberts is playing a villain, actually I don't know yet what role he has.

I wonder if people noticed him in The Dark Knight and if so, how much it helps in promoting this movie.

I would also like to see a movie where Eric is the (semi-)good guy and Dolph the bad guy... and Dolph wins of course.

Its good to have the bad guy win. Look at the Staham film "Chaos" although its a pretty bad example it shows what I'm talking about.

They should have the names on the dvd cover and have Dolph Lundgren, (Rocky IV, Universal Soldier), Eric Roberts, (The Specialist, The Dark Knight) and featuring Melissa Smith of the Pussycat Dolls underneath, even say that in the trailer - It's good to really promote movies by putting emphasis on the elements people will recognise.

They used to do that for B-movie trailers (back before IMDB was as big as it is now of course)... they don't really do that now though... too bad...
