Hi, that's my first post here.

I am looking for "Army of One" uncut DVD, from what I know it's either Korean R0 or USA R1 Artisan's edition. I have really bad luck on this, I've tried to buy Korean edition on ebay twice, and both times I have not received DVD (i suspect it must have been lost on its way from Korea to Poland, byt two times??). Now, it's no longer available, and there are still one or R1 DVDs but with too high price or shipping cost.

Maybe someone here know where should I look for it, or maybe somebody want to sell it? (I doubt it, but I need to try ;))

Hey welcome on board! You've got plenty of them used but cheap on Amazon ;)

Unfortunately Poland is not on "supported countries" list on Amazon.com, therefore I am unable to buy used items from Amazon, besides, shipping costs there, compared to what I usually pay for shipment from USA (when I buy movies on eBay) is ridiculously high (much higher than item cost, when buying single DVD), so that's not an option for me :( Must search for it somewhere else.

The French widescreen DVD looks great but it's in French language only.

I know, but I'd like to know how great it looks ;) Just a couple of screenshots will do.

btw, I've just seen the movie, for a first time, and it was a little disappointing unfortunately, better than Men of War, bot definitely worse than, let's say, Showdown in Little Tokyo or Dark Angel. Highlights are warehouse shootout and car chase at the end.

This in fact looks good, especially compared to Artisan edition. And it has original title :)

Did this film and JILL RIPPER have an exclusive deal with HBO at the time of their release? I distinctly remember this being premiered on HBO before its video release as well as JILL THE RIPPER, so it must have... If this was the case, then why didn't the rest of Lundgren's films have a cable premier??

Not sure about JT, but I know BRIDGE OF DRAGONS, STORM CATCHER, and JILL RIPS were sold to have exclusive HBO premieres, I believe THE MINION and SILENT TRIGGER did too.

Army of One did premiere on HBO in America. The version that aired was the original version (which was later released on VHS as the R-rated version) without the elaborate fight scene at the end.

Anybody know what the shooting time was on this one?? In other words, about how much time lapsed between Dolph finishing Universal Solider and starting to film Army of One? I only ask because he looks virtually the same, even down to the hairstyle... Just curious.
