Released in Germany 30 years ago today and straight-to-video.

It was the first DL title to go DTV in Germany. And they changed the character's name to "Barett" for some reason...

30 years ago in French theaters!

How great it was to hear the first notes of Joel Goldsmith's score on the beautifully photographed landscapes of the Mojave desert... on the big screen... and twice!
(Unrated extended cut)

Can’t agree more, i’m watching Joshua Tree every year, i’ve seen it hundreds of times in my youth, i’ve rewatched many times Dolph’s classics likw Dark Angel, Showdown in little Tokyo or Univerval Soldier, but not like this one..almost as much as T2 lol. 1993 was so great to me starting with this movie, Nowhere To Run, Last Action Hero, Hard Target, The Cliffhanger Demolition Man, The Fugitive and Striking Distance. And then 1994 (unfortunately Dolph’s decline big time staring with Penthatlon.

The original cut, without the reshoots. It was so werid to see them back to circa 2000 when Army of one dvd was released by Artisan.
