MIKE & NICK & NICK & ALICE (BenDavid Grabinski, 2025)

Post by Jox »

Several sites have Dolph in the cast of this upcoming 20th Century buddy movie / action comedy shot in 2024 starring Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, Keith David and Ben Schwartz...

Now that I think of it, didn't D mention a project with Vince Vaughn a little while ago?

I hope it's legit, I'm not terribly excited for the movie, but I would be nice to see D share the screen with some interesting cast members.

"Rated R for strong/bloody violence, pervasive language, sexual material, and drug use."

Bogus, this is what the director BenDavid Grabinski answered me on IG:
"I wish that was true."

I don't see on IMDb anything about him. :?

P.S: Where did this rumor came from originally?
Also, keep in mind that the director most likely has signed an NDA with Disney/Hulu that he can't comment on stuff like that, and Dolph's scene(s) may have been deleted :?:

It's been removed since I saw it.

I saw his name added on Blu-ray.com and then saw that he was listed on several other sites as well. And bomaz, didn't D say something about being in a Vince Vaughn movie about a year or so ago? Maybe I could ask him but I don't want to bother him with that...

I guess we'll know soon...

Cool, even if it's a cameo :)
(and now hear me out : Vince Vaughn liked working with Dolph, they become buddies, and Vaughn bring Dolph to be in an S. Craig Zahler movie, in the capacity as Don Johnson was in Brawl in Cell Block 99 or Dragged Across Concrete... I mean... Zahler already worked with Jai White, also managed by Baumgarten, he could also wrork with Dolph  )

‘Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice’ Review: A Smart, Chaotic Throwback That Finds Heart in Time Travel Crime

As long as the film stays anchored in that emotional throughline, everything else—the eccentric characters, the over-the-top action, even a random appearance by Dolph Lundgren—feels purposeful rather than indulgent.
