Marco Mazzoli (from The Tracker) was added (added himself ?) on Imdb. It doesn't mean a damn thing, but as he is a guy close to the producers, it might mean things are moving.

Apparently it's been picked up for China, which can be good financially if they release it theatrically (BLACK WATER made $7-8 million, LEGENDARY grossed §12-13 million)...

Yes, this market is full of surprises (one of the biggest grosser of 2015 was a local dark thriler, called Mr. Six so dark stuff can work out well over there). Good omen that it already has been picked up

For what it's worth, the poster on Sun FIlm Group's website changed a few days ago and ... Val Kilmer was added. It doesn't mean anything, but hey. (with Val back in Top Gun 2, I guess it kinda make sense)

I knew Kilmer battled health issues but was unaware it was that bad: he just recovered throat cancer and suffers a swollen tongue which alters his voice and vocals.

Yes, i've seen that too, but it doesn't seem to stop him from performing his Mark twain bits. So I'm wondering if he indeed is involved in malevolence, will it mean a small delay or not.
