In this interview Dolph talks about possible next project:

"I have now is an interesting scenario. The action takes place in America. My hero - Russian KGB agent who was sent to America back in the 80's. It is totally undercover, his family, children. And then splits the Soviet Union, and the agent is obliged to cooperate with the mafia ... In two words do not tell everything. Well ... let's say, a movie something like a "Eastern Pomises" by David Cronenberg. But with more stunts...

This sounds like ICARUS.

Here are pics of a press conference where he mentions another (?) Russian-themed project, still being written, to shoot in 2009 that would break from stereotypes about Russia and its people. He says it's his favorite project of all the ones he's currently working on.

In articles it is told about visit Dolph to Russia, to the city of Ekaterinburg. There Dolph plans to learn Russia better. The city has reminded it Sweden.)) Dolph has visited training military camp and became the witness of event which has shaken it. One Russian colonel have awarded with a medal, and the colonel marked this event in a circle of friends. The colonel has poured a vodka glass, has put a medal in a glass, has drunk all vodka at once, has kissed a medal and has cleaned it in a box. Dolph so has amazed this show that he has decided to include this episode in the new film.
The film plot over which Dolph now works, will be probably based on events in Ossetia and Abkhazia in 2008.

By the way, in photos in the form of shots Mr. Lundgren who tells to a press about the Russian colonel, a vodka and medal glass is represented.)))

Dolph Lundgren to Make a Film about Russian Mentality

Hollywood star Dolph Lundgren intends to produce a film that is going to dismantle Western stereotypes concerning the Russians. The filming will be carried out in the Sverdlovsk Region, the actor and film director said on his visit to Yekaterinburg.

“Three weeks ago I finished filming of another picture in Moscow and hope I can soon arrive in Yekaterinburg again to launch production of a new film, which will be about Russian people”, Dolph Lundgren informed the ITAR TASS.

In particular, Dolph Lundgren said he wanted to include a scene showing how Russian officers accept new awards, following an old custom.

“We were in a special mission unit, where the commander was being awarded a medal. He put it into a full glass of vodka, drank it all, kissed the medal and put it back into the box. I would like to film this episode. He showed himself as a real man. Any other after drinking a glass of vodka would have dropped dead” – the actor shared his impressions.
