SAFE HOUSE (J.P. Riley, 2008) (unproduced)

Just found out about a cancelled project called SAFE HOUSE (not related to the Denzel Washington one I don't think) produced by Sony (guess they tried to set this up after the success of MISSIONARY MAN) that didn't make it to production because the script was apparently abysmal and "unfixable".

It was an anti-terrorism story which borrowed character names from "24" and Dolph was supposed to speak with a deep southern accent.

The first director got fired and J.P. Riley took over while he and his friend Brock Wilbur tried to rewrite and fix the script in the couple weeks they were given (while locations were scouted in Baton Rouge.
