Great year for Dolph. If Aquaman and Creed II prove to be any good this will be his best year since 2010.

Scott Adkins is Europe right now, and he will soon be finished with Jesse Johnson's Avengement. I wonder if he's still part of Malevolence.

Yep. Gonna be a big year for our favorite Swede.

Quick clip of the Sun film school (or press conference, I'm not sure) Dolph made in Venezia

On the page, the project really sounds much better than what it seems.
If D succeeds the movie he wants, this could be a great low-budget gem, directorialy and artistically on the level of THE MECHANIK or better 8)

I'm looking forward to that (and he seemed enthusiastic in that little interview).
Adkins said he was taking some days off in Majorca and going back to work right after his vacations, I'M wondering if it's to work on Malevolence. I would be all for it, even if an english actor might seem odd playing a cop in Rome (but I guess you can make some writing moves to make it work).
EDIT : Michael Jai White seems to be in Italy too. That might be a clue 8)

From what I understand dkins was name that some of the producers / sales agents threw out publicly before they reached an early agreement, which never happened because of that or because of it (like "they put my name on before I said yes, so screw 'em")...

Well, it's not surprising. I wouldn't hold it against Adkins if he decided not to do M because of that. I trust in Dolph to find good "opponents" (I watched The Mechanik again a few weeks ago, and Ben Cross, even if he was "advised" by Nu Image, was a good "sidekick").
I hope Vmi (if they still are in the game) and Sun Film will let Dolph free to do the movie he wants.

i hope his co-star will be someone a little bit bigger than adkins. scott now is too dtv. maybe his son from creed 2 whose career is just about to start. or some thomas jane, frank grillo.

It's certain that when Dolph took on THE TRACKER, there was a deal to do this against them helping producing MALEVOLENCE, like the DIRECT CONTACT for COMMAND PERFORMANCE agreement...

According to his FB / IG post, it's now scheduled to shoot in january. Good to see he's not rushing things (as opposed to some last minute gig).

For what it's worth, the poster on Sun FIlm Group's website changed a few days ago and ... Val Kilmer was added. It doesn't mean anything, but hey. (with Val back in Top Gun 2, I guess it kinda make sense)

That would be cool!

On which page did you find it? I can't find anything on the site...

Yes : while on the website, you click on "Films" (instead on waiting for the tab to appear). They also changed the poster for Hard Night Falling.

Oh, right, thanks!

Was there a different image for HARD NIGHT FALLIN', did you save it?
