And I realized the site just turned 15 years, and almost 10 than I inherited it!

The site is 10 years!

8)

It's now been 10 years that I have been very kindly given the site (then called the "definitive guide") and that I relaunched it as the "ultimate guide". Dolph was actually simultaneously launching his first official site.

:D

So much has happened since!

:D

Congratulations. The main thing is Dolph's career is going to the right direction. Not counting that he's the regular cast member of one the coolest fricheses in the movie history, he does his own projects. Some of his DTVs are not so great, but who cares. He's not the only actor who does DTVs, right?

While/about 2000-2009 did you ever think that Dolph woud come back to the big screen, Jox? What was your feeling around that times?

Well, 2000-2009 is a long period. I'd cut that in two parts: 2000-2004 and 2004-2009.

I always supported him and felt confident he could and wanted to do better work that he was given. I didn't think much about big screen or not but just wanted some more recognition for him at least critically and with more serious roles. I liked what he was doing with his roles in films like JILL RIPS (which in other circumstances could have been a theatrically released art-house film) or how HIDDEN AGENDA turned out (showing him off as a smart guy for once, and didn't seem cut out of the 80s like his other stuff at the time).

By 2004 I sure started to get excited about his directorial debut that was quite successful and was confirmed with the subsequent films so things started to pick up already. I'm glad he seems done with the "alimony" paychecks projects so he his future directorial and producing projects can really show what he's capable of without anybody interfering.

A little shoutout from the initial creator of the site, Blaine.
May 2018 will be the 20th anniversary for the launch of the once called DOLPH: The Definitive Guide...

Me too! I usually forget my age and then things like that or meeting much younger "adults" or teenagers who haven't grown up during the same era remind me about my being of an older generation...!
