Posted: 01 Oct 2008, 18:57Had no idea that in this Konami video game from 1990, the character is not only inspired by Dolph Lundgren, it is ripped off "Red Scorpion"! And for 1990 they really had the look/the eyes right...

Posted: 14 Oct 2008, 04:38Last I checked, Hideo Kojima (creator of Metal Gear) stated that the character of Snake was primarily inspired by Kurt Russell's character in Escape From New York. I've heard Biehn's name mentioned too, but Kurt is meant to be the main influence.
