khurram112: Midnight Movie is quite good, i think the director has great potential. I think he already has a new project in line (according to Fangoria magazine)

The January Man (1989)
Director: Pat O'Connor
Pleasant mix of comedy and thriller with Kevin Kline, Harvey Keitel and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.
Six apples out of ten possible

Walking Tall: The Payback (2007)
Director: Tripp Reed
Action with Kevin Sorbo as Nick Prescott who tire of local gangsters and corruption. Quite ok as entertainment for the moment.
Six apples out of ten possible

The Shepherd: Border Patrol (2008)
Director: Isaac Florentine
Action with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Scott Adkins. Isaac Florentine usually deliver really good action, but this is unfortunately a disappointment despite the presence of some nice moments.

Walking Tall: Lone Justice (2007)
Director: Tripp Reed
Kevin Sorbo is back as Nick, several of the characters and actors from the last movie returns. This time, it is mexicanska gangsters that poses a threat. Like the previous film this is also ok entertainment for the moment.
Six apples out of ten possible

Behind Enemy Lines: Colombia (2009)
Director: Tim Matheson
Action/war movie. An independent film from the other two Behind Enemy Lines, the common part is the theme that american soldiers are trapped behind enemy lines. Here, it is a Navy SEAL team that is on a secret mission in Colombia. Of course, it all goes to hell. A bit uneven action, one moment completely blood-free but the next moment somewhat graphic. This is fully approved entertainment.

Code of Silence
One of my all-time favorite Chuck Norris films. Great story with a deep sub-plot and excellent ending shootout.

Jack Caine: I totally agree with you. Code of Silence, along with The Octagon and A Force Of One, is one of Chuck Norris best movies.

Love The Octagon, but Lone Wolf McQuade is definitely the best Norris movie ever. I'm a huge fan of westerns and this one has a finale that just tops the books. My second-favorite Norris film is Silent Rage. Chuck fights an insane murderer brought back from the dead in west Texas. Plenty of gore, nudity, and Chuck kicking the shit out of a 6 foot zombie. :D

I watched Seagal's FLIGHT OF FURY because it finally aired for free on cable. Even seeing it for free I feel I deserve some money back.

I've learned to avoid movies where Steven's head is photoshopped over a thin body :)

Hitman
Pretty damn good for a modern action film based on a game. Nice amount of gunplay and elegant direction--like John Woo, only french.

I watched Saints And Soldiers yesterday. It's a WW2 movie about 5 Allied soldiers attempting to escape the German army who are rampaging through the frozen wastes of Belgium's Ardennes forest. It's based on the real-life events of the Malmedy Massacre of WW2, and the movie won 13 international film awards, including 7 Best Picture accolades! And yet, I know very few people who have even heard of the film, let alone watched it.

Nam Angels (1989)
Director: Cirio H. Santiago
Entertaining action-packed warmovie, signed Cirio H. Santiago, where an American lieutenant recruit members from Hells Angels on a mission behind enemy lines.
Seven apples out of ten possible

Dead Space: Down Fall (2008)
Director: Chuck Patton
Animated horror movie that rolls on at high speed, really violent with lots of Gore.
Seven out of ten apples possible.

Dead Set (2008)
Director: Yann Demange
This is 2008 years best zombie film, excuse me, TV series ...
Reminiscent in its style of 28 Days / Weeks Later and Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Very very good! If you liked the Dawn of the Dead (2004), 28 Days and Weeks Later, REC and Shaun of the Dead, Dead Set is definitely something for you.
Recommended!
