Hah, you got me. Just for saying "Yes of course" I started again today. And it feels great to notice after that little hiatus that the routine is getting easier over time. I HAVE THE POWER! :D

YOU WILL REGAIN THE POWER!
Do you do a split routine or workout the whole body everytime?

I do a split routine. I do the main lifts though.

I did back today, so deadlift, dumbbell bent over row, and lat pulldown, I took it slightly easier.

A week or so, and I will hopefully get into the early mornign routine.

I seriously dunno how Dolph keeps this up, amazing discpline is required!

Sounds like you've got a good routine going on there. But a rough hour of the day to work out.

Don't mention it. I also took the liberty of installing surveillance cameras in your home so that I can make sure you're actually doing the workouts, in fact I'm watching you right now. Wave!

Haha, it can last very long, especially if you go from nothing to a full on bodybuilding routine immediately. I believe you're recommended to ease into it, step by step.

Are you going to wait out the DOMS until you start over on the same muscle group again?

Yeah, I just went all out (which isn't saying much hahah) on the first day and my chest, triceps and arms all kill.

Today was supposed to be shoulders, but even after a long soak inthe bath beforehand it still hurt. I don't really want to hurt myself, so this morning I just did a cardio session for 40 mins (on a bike), tommorow I should be OK to do shoulders and legs, I might go for a run on sat, or do something I dunno yet.

Morning workouts are bad, its hard to get up and go, but the gym atmosphere is different, its quieter, and only serious trainers go there.

Did you ever lift weights?

Sounds like a plan, waiting it out a little until you can give it your all. I'm not a fan of working out with muscle soreness, in my case it means, without fail, that I am not at a 100% yet.

Sure, I worked out in gyms and lifted weights for years. I did the whole bodybuilding lifestyle for a while, where you start to panic if you miss a meal by ten minutes... Ridiculous.

Well, the soreness went, managed to make it into week 2, went again this morning! Yay!

I think I will condense the workout, and go three days instead of 4/5, makes life a bit easier, plus early on in the week the gym in the morning is quieter.
I really do need to sort out diet though.

I feel strangely good for some reason too

Still doing the 6:30am starts but the diet is the next thing I really need to sort out, I think its going to hinder rexovery times etc, can anyone help with this?

I'm glad you're going strong!

I suggest FIVE or SIX smaller meals consisting of healthy foods, a day, all of them containing lean protein, slow carbs and vegetables. Drink plenty of water.

Supplements: Protein powder, Creatine monohyrate and multivitamin tablet.

That would be the basics, pretty much.
