Question for you Jox, one that you may find a little difficult to answer though. Command Performance is released in the US on Nov 3rd by First Look, I know that. Is a UK release date likely to come round about the same time? Because I remember First Look picked up Direct Contact but it still hasn't come out in the UK and as far as I can see there are no signs of it yet. I'm looking forward to Command Performance, so do you guys reckon I should just go ahead and pre-order the R1 version? What are the chances of a UK release coming along around the same time and being better with features? I could wait a little while to pre-order it because it's a long time til November. What's everyone else gonna do?

I don't know Nathan it's 50/50 but you could always pre-order the R1 and then cancel it if the UK release is announced meanwhile...

SPOILER ALERT!
Oh, no, that was brutal. I never read the plotdescription part of reviews only the summaries and conclusions and stuff. But this line from the review is not very promising: "Of Dolph’s recent releases I’d say COMMAND PERFORMANCE is not as good as DIRECT CONTACT, MISSIONARY MAN or DIAMOND DOGS"

Worse than Direct Contact and DIAMOND DOGS?!

I'm getting nervous.

Fck!

The way you should read this is how can you trust ONE review that implies DIAMOND DOGS and DIRECT CONTACT as being good?!

I just think it sucks he posted his review 3 months away from the release (but it's not like this was ever gonna have good reviews anyway right?)

Of course, I won't make up my mind until I've seen it. And I probably WILL love it anyway, because I'm such a fan (and I play rock music). But still, I would have preferred a GOOD review.

What's troubling about the review is that this isn't some generic web-critic who looks down at Lundgren movies to begin with. Vern is a fan of a lot of Dolph's films and he has written a lot of fairly positive reviews for his movies in the past. A sparkling review from him would have gotten me even more pumped.

But it is just one review, so I still can't wait to see the film for myself. Still extremely excited to see it.

Now I'm also a little worried that the screeners being sent out are gonna lead to the film being pirated all over the Internet. Hope that doesn't happen so soon.

Based on what you're telling me from that review Vern did, I'm a bit nervous for this one. I mean, all of Dolph's directorial efforts have been top notch, so I'd expect nothing but quality in this, but I trust alot of Vern's word. That's not gonna be good for sales...

I can tell they're using my scan of the flyer, not necessarily their cover yet.
