Great review Tom, I love reading your shit mate!! Sounds like I will enjoy CP, you are a very funny guy Tom, I was chuckling to myself about the opening of the DVD because that's exactly what I go through every single time, brilliant.

Excellent review, chief! I was alittle worried after hearing about Vern's review, but this review has really lifted my spirits about it. WOOHOO!

No feature on it. It's also not full 2-35 widescreen as intended. It's been reformated to 1-85.

Watched this online, as I did with Direct Contact, because I know it will take ages for them to hit the UK, but I will definately be doing a day-one purchase on this one. I'll give a little good/bad points summary review.

GOOD POINTS

- The movie has a great look and I loved the colours.
- Dolph's MTV style direction worked really well.
- It was bright and loud and fun with a good dose of humour.
- Dolph's performance was one of his most memorable ever.
- The action was well filmed and had great impact.
- It wasn't anti-climatic.
- Some fantastic one-liners, Dolph is mega cool here.

BAD POINTS

- Some of the scenes with the girls as Tom says are pretty bad.
- There are some slightly awkward moments in the movie between the actors.
- Chemistry is lacking in a few places.

Overall this is a great movie and is definately up there with Dolph's best directorial effort The Mechanik, a fun movie to watch with some really well done dramatic moments, some great 80's kick ass moments, tonnes of blood and a healthy number of quips. Dolph is always a pleasure to watch Enjoyable stuff!! Well done Dolph!! 7.5/10

Yes…yes he can! Command Performance delivers! It’s a well made, well paced action flick.

Oh gosh, I think I'll give up and just order the Thai DVD. Can't wait...

I didn't read everything because like dolphage I don't want to know too much in advance. Are there any extras on the DVD?

Fast and Furious, Wolverine, Terminator 4. They all sucked.

You must have seen different movies than I did. ;) F&F is for a different target audience, granted, but has extremely good action sequences, nice music and even a decent story. Woverine disappointed me a bit but only because I had extreme expectations. Was still quite good. T4 was excellent (I know I speak for the minority here).

Ok. Will read the rest of the posts quickly, then order that friggin' DVD. *sigh* Loved the part where you describe how you unwrap it btw. :-D

No extras and like Tom said, NOT IN CORRECT ASPECT RATIO WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE when there's finally a new Dolph movie shot in cinemascope 2.35! (last was SILENT TRIGGER)

That's shit, what does it cost to present the movie properly, as was intended, and add a short making-of...

Some bad reviews where about the camera move to fast, but it's looking bad on 16:9, we should wait for the original aspect ratio.
