Maybe they just use it as a sales argument because people are tired of all the cheap CGI f/x.

yeah I think so and it's also like saying Dolph Lundgren's 100% action man, does his own stunts (even if he can be doubled) etc

btw you can pre-order DIRECT ACTION at CDJapan

Huaaa, but not for US$ 34.61 (plus shipping, I suspect). I'm old. I'm patient. ;-)
Men Of War with a total of 25$ including shipping is the most expensive DVD I own (including the few A-list movies I bought). That must be enough.

BTW: What does "Aspect Ratio(s): 16:9 Squeeze" mean? Never seen that before.

Are there any details or websites to pre-order the Japanese Direct Action DVD? I'd like to see it, looks like there's plenty of action. I don't imagine we will see it in the states or Europe until the end of this year or early next.

LOL... when I looked at this pic (^) I firstly thought to see ME... a few similarities...
In hope for someone who could replace the real Dolph one day if he's (hopefully not as soon) out of business...

DIRECT ACTION; I hope the UK release gets a different POSTER (same goes for DETENTION). I cant stand either poster, especially DIRECT ACTION.

But what about "The Punisher" with Dolph Lundgren?
I heard that another new movie was just hailed in the cinemas here...
some photo poses are very similar to Arnie in "Terminator 2", when he got out of the elevator when he looked at Sarah Conor in that psychological reservation or whatever... with the risen gun in his hand ( I liked his spin- trick with that gun when he was driving his cool bike!)

Thomas Jane plays the new Punisher and it has gotten horrible reviews here in the U.S.
