Dolph isn't the kind of person to drop his laundry bag in public so he sticks to the positive.

Here's a review that doesn't really spoil it for you but still manages to generate more info and interest:

(I'm just confused about the HD screening format since I (mis?)understood they had to make a 35mm print from HD to screen it at this festival)

Another review:

http://screenrant.com/fantastic-fest-day-silat-brains-dolph-lundgren-kkelly-29118/
Universal Soldier: A New Beginning: Van Damme is back. Lundgren is back. And yes, they have a tremendous fight scene. However, there’s also a new baddie, played by MMA fight Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski. Both Lundgren and Arlovski and director John Hyams were on-hand to introduce Secret Screening #5, which might have caused some initial groans. Really? Another UniSol movie? Surprisingly, it wasn’t bad. By the time the end credits were rolling, I was really enjoying the film. It largely ignores the first two Universal Soldier movies (and yes, has nothing to do with the terrible TV movies), and carves out its own territory.

His recent interview are really great, maybe the questions and the hype is something that wasn't in the past.

In short, algren; Jox is tireless in his efforts to help the Big Guy's career, he started out as a fan (and a little bit of a nerd) and is now a trusted ally of Dolph's and the, highly respected, leader of the Dolph-a-maniacs. We adore him.

By the way, what do you guys think of the upcoming movie Universal Soldier III?

A very enthusiastic review from Film School Rejects (could it actually be the excellent surprise we didn't expect anymore?)

no, that wasn’t one of the best films I’ve seen this year, but was amongst the most surprising.

Fantastic!! Some great behind-the-scenes stories on The Expendables there and a great interview with Dolph. US-3 seems to be getting surprisingly positive reviews, maybe people are please to see them back, I reckon they've really brought this movie into 2009. I am wondering though, only 5 days for Dolph? It seems like he gets mentioned a helluva lot in the reviews, nobody has said "Dolph only did a cameo" so maybe his role seems quite spread out. Also, he filmed 5 days with JC right, but was there before hand...

Aha - a question I can answer. The latest cinema digital projection is done at a little over 4000 lines (16 times as much information as a 1080p high definition TV). This is directly compatible with the latest all-digital cameras and editing suites, so you can shoot, edit and project with almost no loss in detail.

My guess is that they ran a downscaled version through a regular high definition digital projector running at 720p or 1080i. Perhaps even the version that will be used for the Blu-ray whenever that comes along. Done properly it would look bright and contrasty but a little low definition compared to 35mm or good digital projection.

HTH.

Rea was in quite a bit of UNTIL DEATH, unfortunately he looked bored out of his mind. Don't think that would be a problem for Dolph. I'm sure he gave his all during those 5 days.

I wish it was too. You'd get in a lot less trouble if it was.
