Congratulations, don't take this the wrong way but why is there an interview/featurette with YOU on the disc?

I have no idea about that, maybe, maybe not, US fans please let us know if you see any!
Something cool is coming very soon though...

For several reasons
- because timing was too tight to set up something with Dolph
- because I can brag about not only being a Dolph specialist but having visited the set and followed the production closely
- because I knew a few people at the releasing company and I had shown them the site and the teaser back hen so when they scheduled the release they called me, I gave them a bunch of ideas including interviewing me which they thought was cool
To be honest it's kinda hard to see myself as a talking head on the screen but I did better than I thought though!

Just caught this from EricW at Joblo:
All you DOLPH fans just might want to listen to next week's ARROW IN THE HEAD podcast... just sayin...

Awesome interview. Glad to hear D still has the Swedish WW1 film in mind. Plus a road movie (Wanted Man?) and a thriller (Skin Trade?) as well. Sounds like he's close to rolling on another one. Hopefully beginning of next year.

I'm proud to say that the French edition special features will include not only the promo making of and trailers (not yet sure about the teaser) but a 20 minutes exclusive interview / featurette with "yours truly", illustrated with unseen behind the scenes footage! 8) I saw the cut yesterday and it looks good, not promotional but an honest documentary...

Potentially dumb question Jox - will it be in English or dubbed? It might be the best option since Britain appears to be the last part of the World to get a release date.

Not a dumb question. Are you talking about the bonus or the movie?
The movie will be both in English and dubbed (not sure yet if the subs will be forced or not) but the bonus/interview only in French I'm afraid.

Can't wait to see his kill count on youtube. Oh stop, sure I'll wait. Until I've seen the movie.

Which reminds me adding to the link above: SPOILER WARNING!

Whaaaat!!! :o Not only the most ill-advised and generic dvd cover ever, showing the fucking ending of the movie online and not making use of the theme of the movie in the marketing but also listing special features on the cover that aren't on the disc!! If this is true, First Look are truly the worst studio for Dolph ever, I pray they don't get their shit smeared hands on Icarus... :x

What I love is how it says "sponsored by First Look" to a review that doesn't serve them

Ohhh dear. Jox what are the chances of them distributing Icarus? DC and CP are Nu Image, Icarus is Cinetel, but they could still pick it up right? What are your thoughts about their whole handling of CP mate?

I honestly don't know about that one but I don't think it's gonna make a huge difference anyway, whoever picks it up will dump it as any other Dolph movie, no need to have any other expectations.

What are your thoughts about their whole handling of CP mate?

I'd rather not right now and I don't think I need to express myself on the subject.
