I don't know it depends how CineTel sold the movie, maybe because as a Canadian co-production they sold exclusive rights to this cable channel for TV premiere? This used to happen a lot with HBO, lots of Dolph DTV movies aired on cable before the video release in NOrth America (ARMY OF ONE, SILENT TRIGGER, THE MINION, BRIDGE OF DRAGONS, STORM CATCHER, JILL RIPS etc)

Cinetel specialises in TV movies don't they. I always figured it might because of their back catalogue. I think regardless of how the films ended up, even if Dolph had got his own way and made the film he wanted, garaunteed awesome, they'd have still gone TV premiere in Canada. This was probably agreed right at the beginning.

But...isn’t that kind of stupid...especially today!? I mean...anybody with DVD recorder could of record the movie from TV and then released it on the Internet so that people can download it!? :?

Canada's cable companies are probably like the ones in the U.S. The signal is encrypted, you can't record unless you use their DVR and you can't transfer it even if it wasn't encrypted because the USB ports are disabled in their firmware. :x

That’s good...because it would be to bad if happened the same thing as happened with Command Performance and USR...movies leaked almost whole months before official release...

It is not available in Switzerland yet.The release Date can change every Time.I think you can not get the DVD befrore 10.04.2010.These Shops will ship it in whole Europe (2,80 Euro Porto).
I will buy the DVD also in Switzerland, because it seems there is much more Bonus(Making of...) On German DVD there will be only Trailershow,Photogalerie,Biographie. :?
