I went to the Berlin premiere yesterday and still feel pretty kaputt from traveling.

Currently I'm trying to get the photos from my phone but FOR THE FIRST FUCKING TIME it won't work. MMAAAAAAAAAANNN!!!!!
Anyway, it was great, though before the guys arrived there were two heavy showers of rain and we were all pretty soaked afterwards. At leaste the rain had stopped when Dolph, Jason and Sly arrived (in that order) so they didn't flee to the canopied area of the red carped too quickly.
It was a relatively small space, a cinema at the Kurfürstendamm, so they blocked the sidewalk and did a 90 degree red carpet to the entrance. I guess the pharmacy behind the carped didn't sell much that evening.

But the Hägen Dazz (or how they spell that) profited from the press and the crowd waiting there. Can't tell how many people there were, I guess there was only space for 200 or 300 but it was packed as hell and people also waited on balconies and on the green strip in the middle of the road in order to get a glimpse and take photos. I saw press teams from Reuters, Deutsche Welle and some major private and public German TV stations. They also had a few German TV actors and actresses, most notably Reiner Schöne, who dubbed Mickey Rourke in Sin City, so I guess he will also lend him his voice in The Expendables.
The three guys looked great and I had the impression that especially Jason Statham was in a great mood. He took the most time to sign autographs and posed with a fan right in front of me. As soon as I tackle that darn sync software I'll post pics (quite blurry unfortunately) and some videos.
I also met Darling when she and her sister arrived. Darling, I hope you two guys had a great time and enjoyed the movie! I made it back in time to my train and arrived still soaked, very tired but happy back home in the middle of the night.
The only thing that I regret is that my mint condition Playboy magazine from 1985 with the famous Helmut Newton photos of Grace and Dolph is now not in mint condition anymore but still doesn't carry an autograph since Dolph only took a very brief moment to sign and spent his time after press interviews rather chatting with some guy (I guess one of the organizers) instead of coming back to the cheering fans. Well, that's life I guess. At least I got few good glimpses of Sly and Jason. I was in the second row and heard the guy in front of me saying (quite amazed) "He shook my hand!" (about Sly).

Sly didn't sign anything as he had announced earlier but he chatted and shook hands instead. Who would blame him as half of the autographs end on ebay I guess.
Now I pray that my local cinema will show The Expendables in English so I can keep my promise and watch it 20 times.

Until then I will not read reviews or watch videos because I don't want to spoil the experience.
