The tagline for on the Japanese cover reads "Human atomic warhead is back"!

Did you know that "Human atomic warhead"/ NINGEN KAKU DAN TOE is Dolph's nickname in Japan since about 1989?! :D

Thanks to Hanako from the StalloneZone for these precisions.

Opening today in Kuwait on 7 screens (which is a lot actually if you compare to the blockbusters)

Because that's the official title that Anchor Bay chose for the US and UK, it's on all press releases, go figure... even Dolph said in a recent interview how stupid that was...

Honestly, I know the title is a little silly but I understand why they did it. It makes the film more marketable and I think it will get more people to see the movie, which is a good thing.

More marketable? That is really arguable and I've already made point to the distributor and publicist. This is that kind of bad marketing that is also part of how Dolph never broke totally through.

Anyway, thanks to Colligion for the heads up, it seems that Best Buy will have an exclusive Blu-ray in their stores (same for another 20 titles)

It's a judgement call for the distributer that has money on the line. I think Killing Machine is not an appropriate title for this film, but I can't blame them. I don't think it ruins the movie. It's a lower end movie. It's OK but we can't fool people into thinking it is a great piece of art.
