Apparently, but it's MOD, Manufactured On Demand, so the disc is a DVD-R I think.

They are burned on dvd-r. For the reviews I have read, they do a pretty decent job on them. I doubt the pictures going to look terrible. No features though.

If they use the same master/transfer as the Region 2 it has a very nice/decent image quality.

This is similar to the Warner Archive collection where they specialize in made-on-demand discs of out-of-print, but not forgotten films. The quality is pretty good. Glad to see that I COME IN PEACE is finally getting a release; maybe not an official one, but still a release. My only question is if it's a DVD release for the US, why are they going with the title, DARK ANGEL instead of I COME IN PEACE? I realize DARK ANGEL was its original title (and the title it's still used in other countries), but I COME IN PEACE is the title it was released with theatrically and to home video (which I still have a copy of)...

Does anybody own the Anchor Bay remastered laserdisc from 1996-1997? I think even then since they went with the original inter-negative to do the new transfer the main title credit was as DARK ANGEL. Guess they didn't want to just subtitle it or something...

Very nice. I'm going to have to pick this up. My VHS is about to kick the bucket and I would love to watch this over again. Finding a LD would be impossible or impossibly expensive. I doubt I could even find a working LD player anymore!
