You can't cry about an EX2 PG-13 rating if the only thing Rated R in your life is your movie collection.

I don't want sympathy. I'm a grown, Black man in a White man's action movie world. I can handle controversy. I always do my best no matter if the movie is G, PG, PG-13 or R. Whether I'm in the movie or cut out. I'm ride or die with Sly. HE PICKED ME. If he changes the rating, I'm with it. If he doesn't, I'm with that too. This thing is so incredible it would be worth seeing if we just shot phone books. But everyone involved knows EXPENDABLES fans will not be disappointed.

Crews is being loyal and backing Sly up, but I feel like he KNOWS it's a mistake to make the movie PG-13. He just can't admit it.

I don't get it personally.
Question for me is, why? Why make an action film with the biggest action stars, past and present, and have it rated PG-13 or whatever it is? It just sounds, fucking dumb?

by the way, cool name dolphage!
Is there an off switch to your mouth?

Shocker that Crews has an ego the size of Texas even though he's been in absolutely nothing. I wonder where this guy gets his mouth from... maybe his muscles? Show some class guy I don't care if you are a big screen action star. As far as rated R goes I do agree with him the movie can still be good and not have tons of gore/explicit scenes... I myself am hoping for a much better screenplay this time around and hopefully more charisma outta the big boys.

I'm not sure this is ego with him, he's really chill as a person.

MMA chick GIna Carano (currently in HAYWIRE) says she was considered by Sly for the role of Maggie in EX2

Yeah, I think Sylvester Stallone was really considering me for one of the roles in Expendables 2, but they needed a girl from China because that’s where they were going to be. They needed a Chinese girl, so I didn’t fit the bill for that one. I’m sure I’m on some people’s radars, especially on the Mixed Martial Arts websites, so just stay positive and put out some good energy for me.

Stuntwoman/actress Zoe Bell would have also been a good choice for the female action part of Maggie in TE2.

They needed an Asian actress who can act (Yu Nan received much acclaim and a couple of awards in the festivals and the independent circuit in Europe and Asia).

It just leaves a bad taste. First Sly is all over the news after TE 1 saying that fans were waiting for hard, 80s style action, and now he's going for PG-13. Fuck... errr... I mean... *beep* :?

Scott Adkins Q&A

felix - Do you get any good fight scenes in The Expendables 2?

I get 1 fight.

While working on the Expendables do you have any interesting/funny stories from behind the scene and did you pick up anything new on working on such a big budget film?

I learnt a lot from watching Stallone and the others work, for sure.

How did felt on Ex2 comparing to other productions from NuImage. What is the scale of this one from inside?

When your shooting a scene with Stallone, Arnold, Willis, Van Damme and Chuck Norris you have to pinch yourself. Yes it's huge and it looks great. Shelly Johnson's cinematography is beautiful! It was great for me to be associated with the movie, win win situation.

andrey - Expendables 2. How it was, maybe little story how you was invited?

I'm obviously friendly with the Millenium producers and I expressed my interest. They were more interested in lining up the likes of Van Damme and Norris, which is of course to be expected but eventually it made sense to have me play Van Damme's 2nd in command.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone 'bump' into each other at hospital

After all the action, stunts & physical abuse shooting The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder. Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery. Now we're ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot The Tomb.
