So this starts shooting on Monday? Awesome! How long will Dolph be on set?
As far as who is the bigger international star... Dolph hands down. Now in the states I would have to go with Austin, but globally, Dolph.

"Vancouver Day 2
I got picked up at the hotel this morning and went down to wardrobe to get fitted for my movie attire. Then met with the stunt guys about the opening fight sequence…Yep, there’s a fight in this movie…A bunch of ‘em.
Anyhoo…After that I worked on my dialogue scenes with Paul Lazenby, my stunt double. Paul comes from a MMA/Pro Wrestling background. So, inevitably, after the work was done the conversation shifted to the current scenes in both businesses. After rebooking the WWE Territory, we booked the next three UFC cards. All in all a successful work/bullsh!t session.
It is now time to hit the hay. Gotta get some beauty sleep, folks. Either that, or we better have a real talented make-up person. We roll cameras on Monday. The scene we will be filming is actually the beginning scene in the movie. This is the first time I’ve ever shot the first scene on Day One. Pretty cool, actually.
Should have some pics posted after tomorrow."
Packing to leave for Vancouver and a showdown with Stone Cold Austin in THE PACKAGE!
Vancouver-Day 3 Streets of Van…

We roll cameras tomorrow! Finally getting the show going. As I mentioned, this entire movie is one big can of Whoop Ass. Dolph Lundgren gets into town in a few days. Lots of blood shed and brutality in this one, for sure.
Take care folks and thanks for stopping by.

Action movie starring Steve Austin and Dolph Lundgren shooting in Abbotsford
A movie will be filmed in Abbotsford and nearby locations over the next three weeks.
The Package began its first day of production at Dogwood Bowl on Monday. It was scheduled to be in Fort Langley Tuesday, but will be returning to Abbotsford.
Staff on scene were closed lipped, but according to Internet Movie Database the film will star Dolph Lundgren and Steve Austin, who were co-stars in The Expendables in 2010. Lundren is best known for Rocky IV and Universal Soldier. Austin, who was the notorious "Stone Cold" Steve Austin of the WWE, has made the jump to the action film genre.
The tagline for The Package says "a courier for a local crime lord must deliver a mysterious package while being chased by a horde of unusual gangsters."
The entire film will be shot in B.C., directed by Jesse V. Johnson and from the Motion Picture Corporation of America.
More information can be found at Austin's website brokenskullranch.com.
Cameras rolled on the set today. The first scene we shot is literally the beginning of the movie. So it was a cool start. A little bit of blood was shed on the first day as well. This is a fight heavy movie with a great plot twist. I had a lot of dialogue today and that continues tomorrow. I think this is one of the only movies I’ve done where my wife and kids haven’t been killed as a part of the story. (The Condemned was the other.) So it is very refreshing to not have to come from such a dark place. For the most part I was happy with the day. Toward the end I made a few choices that could have played a little better. Sometimes less is more.
We are on location tonight and tomorrow night in Langley, then back to Vancouver.
I gotta get back to dialogue, gang.

The entire film will be shot in B.C., directed by Jesse V. Johnson, and the second assistant director is Abbotsfordian Trevor McWhinney.
Dogwood owner George Gasparro said the one day of filming included a massive fight scene inside his business.
He had the opportunity to meet Austin, and said “he’s a pleasant dude.”
Package rolls at bowling alley
'Stone Cold' Steve Austin and Dolph Lundgren muscle into Dogwood
The production company North Package Productions is filming a new feature film called The Package at various locations in Abbotsford during the month of February.
Locations include private residences, outdoor scenes in Matsqui Village First reporte abbotsford and Dogwood Bowling Alley, where a film crew was on Monday.
The movie features rough and tumble actor and former wrestler 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin (The Condemned, The Expendables, Hunt to Kill) and Swedish actor, martial artist and director Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV, The Defender, Icarus).
Dogwood Bowling Alley proprietor George Jasparro said he was approached by the production company more than a month ago.
es.com "They had all the producers and directors come through. We had the bowling alley, the pool tables and the bar. Everybody liked the way it looked - I guess it had the look they wanted," said Jasparro.
Dogwood closed its regular activities for the day, but it's not likely to be a sacrifice.
"We negotiated with them but they make it worth it," he said.
Vancouver Day 5…The Calm Before The Storm
Today was full of dialogue scenes and driving vehicles….Yes, there are actually conversations between the bullets, bloodshed, and devastation in this movie. Starting to get on a roll as I’m getting settled into the character of Tommy Wick. My partner in this movie is Mike Dopud. Mike has a football, hockey, stuntman background and we pretty much hit it off as soon as we met. He’s a super funny cat and we rode around all day laughing about beans, burritos, gas, and three teeth…It’s a long story that I don’t have time to write. Tomorrow is another eight pages of dialogue and then the rough stuff begins. Director Jesse V. Johnson has been terrific with the dialogue and has helped open my eyes to making different choices in my scenes. But action and stunts are his calling card. And with Dolph rolling into town…The sh!t is gonna hit the fan, and I mean that in a good way. I’m excited about this movie. A cool storyline that I will explain more about later. Right now I’m taking my sorry ass to bed. Gotta get a good night sleep. Dialogue tomorrow….Then the ass whoopings commence…It’s the calm before the storm.
Take care ladies and germs…

Was another good day on the set. Working on a 6 page dialogue scene where Tommy gets sent on a mission…One he is not too keen on taking…Anyway, no spoilers. There were several antique shops around the set. Today and yesterday I ate a quick lunch and jumped in with my driver, Gary, and hit the antique shops. Didn’t find anything I absolutely ‘had’ to have, although there were several cool porcelain signs and some other neat stuff. Tomorrow I will prowl around the streets of Vancouver and see what I can find.
Dolph Lundgren came to set and I got a chance to say hello. He looks great and it’s awesome to have him in the movie.
I’m gonna wrap it up here, folks. I’m gonna get some shut eye and rest up for the intensity of all the fights in the upcoming weeks. It’s gonna be a blast…pun intended.
