I am loving working with Dolph, he is prepared, invested and awesome to work with. A phenomenal talent, who has a chance to do something really interesting with this part. It will be awesome!
Austin vs Lundgren
Was a long day on set, folks. Dialogue scenes with Dolph for half a day and then moved into action scenes that lead into tomorrows fight day with Dolph. Dolph Is in tremendous condition and I feel pretty comfortable going into tomorrow’s work as long as he doesn’t have a flash back and say-”I must Break You.” One of my fave movie lines of all time.
Anyway, this is a short blog…gotta rest up and find that can of Whoop Ass for tomorrow.

It was a day filled with brutality on the set of The Package--thanks to Dolph, Simon, Paul Wu, Brent and @steveaustinBSR !
Long Day At The Office

Here And There
Had a short day today after all the overtime yesterday. I got to take a break from killing people and do an intimate scene with my movie wife. It is nice to finally be in a movie where my wife and children haven’t been brutally murdered by the bad guys in the beginning of the movie. So it was a nice day at the office…And tomorrow we return to our normal programming of killing people…Killing more bad guys to be exact. And not to give away any spoilers, but we ain’t killing ‘em with kindness, folks. Lots of Ass Whoopin’s going on.

…Same Broken Skull Channel
Today I got beat up a little, tortured for a while, then we took a lunch break, and then I got tortured some more, and tomorrow…Someone is going to die a horrible, horrible death. Relax, folks…It’s just a movie. It was actually ok being tortured, all I had to do was sit there, tied to a chair, and sell like Big Show was hitting me with his working punch. I’ve been fighting so much it was nice to take a break and be on the receiving end instead of the giving end…Wait, did I just say that?? Tomorrow it’s back to physicality with a more fighting and violence. But it’s a nice kind of violence because with all of the torture and bloodshed, this is a G Rated family movie…Just kidding folks…This is going to border between a PG-13 and R Rating. Either way there’s a lot of action.

I am typing this with blood on my knuckles and a cut above my left eye. One of the fingers on my left hand is completely demolished. My nose is broken and a black eye is welling up on my right cheek. I ended the lives of two people this morning with a machine gun. It was either me or them, and hey…That’s an easy decision to make. RELAX FOLKS…IT’S JUST A MOVIE…IT’S. JUST. A. MOVIE…
I just finished lunch in my trailer. Grilled chicken breasts and vegetables. Catering on this flick has been wonderful. We have a half day of work left. That should be enough time to get a bust ass fight scene in between myself and bad ass martial artist and actor, Darren Shahiavi. It’s either me or him…Someone is about to perish in yet another movie death here on set. We are shooting indoors and that’s a good thing. Outside it is damp, cold, and raining. I’m hoping the rain lets off a little tomorrow as I am going to get out and do a little antique shopping.
Ok…Gotta go. Lunch is over and I just got called into action.
It is now 12:47 am. I got home from set, cooked a batch of spinach to satisfy my empty stomach and am now completing this blog. I am making my way down in weight to sub 240. I have something coming up that I would like to be a little leaner for. Things are going well in the eating department. I am on a strict regimen and am taking in no added salt to any foods. All protein is coming from lean meat sources- chicken, fish, egg whites, and some extra lean ground beef. Carbs are fairly low and fats are moderate to make up for the low carbs. I am currently at 244. I will keep you posted on the results.
The fight was completed in a brutal fashion and the cast and crew are off for the weekend. It was a long week, and certainly a very good week of work. The schedule on this flick has been a pretty good grind. Lots of talented people involved and it has been extremely fun. I plan to chill out tomorrow and hit the gym. On Sunday my stunt double and friend Paul Lazenby, is picking me up at the hotel to hunt down some antiques. I will keep you posted on the results.
Time to put this carcass to bed.
