Song by Frank Stallone (end credits)

Debuting in August 2012, his brother Sylvester is back fighting to save the world in Expendables 2. The movie features a new song written and performed by Frank titled, Don’t Want to Fight With Me. “I’m excited about it because it’s the only original song in the movie. I was under the gun, I only had three days…(Sylvester) wanted something that sounded like ‘On the Road Again’. We wrote the song and when they put it up against the film, it fit great. This song is a whole different ballgame, you couldn’t tell it was me singing but it’s usually something I play at my shows.”

high points, like Jean-Claude Van Damme’s grandstanding, plutonium-crazed baddie, the return of Dolph Lundgren’s action-troll Gunnar Jensen

Producer Avi Lerner already dropping the ball on some of the names they're looking to get for EXPENDABLES 3:

The Expendables 2 is out this week, and to celebrate, we sat down with producer Avi Lerner to discuss the movie.

And, during our chat, Lerner revealed that he’s in talks with some of the biggest names in cinema for Expendables 3.

“We’ve approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys, we’ve got a character in mind for him. We’re talking to Harrison Ford. [And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison. I’ll give you one more name, we’ve got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters].”

“And we’re going to bring Mickey Rourke back, if he won’t be too crazy. I like Mickey. And of course, all the existing stars [will return]”

I'm a little disappointed with The Empire review. I was at the press screening and their most famous writer, Kim Newman was there. I actually think he'd have dug this film more than the guy who's done the review for their site. It's almost as if they had to make a point of posting the negative one. I could be wrong. Maybe Newman thought it was bad, but he tends to be more of a genre movie sympathetic.

And, in a hilarious piece of character development completely absent from the first film, it transpires that Dolph Lundgren’s Gunnar Jenson is actually a genius chemistry expert. Because of course he is.

The Expendables 2 is an improvement in almost every way.

Man... the UK red carpet thing is a MESS compared to the slick Paris one. Terrible music and tons of people running over each other.

Yeah. Because the organizers there knew how to work the crowd and make them hyped. Here people seem to be lucky to get a single look at their favourite star. Just loose people all over the red carpet.
Dolph looks great though. Cooler suit than i Paris I think.

Honestly I was there and it had nothing to do with the organizers, especially not outside, and inside the hosts were actually terrible, but the just Stallone for instance, always made his French fans go nuts so you can imagine with all those guys together! Even two years ago the Paris EXP premiere made more noise than THE LORD OF RINGS ones!

It's like they don't cut to Dolph anymore or what, they didn't even interviewed him?!

It may just have been that the TV airing from Paris was much better produced. It all looked and sounded great.
It's so cool that the premieres make this amount of noice! These guys really have a loyal excited fan-base.
Dolph gets lost in the shuffle a bit. The producers (of the premieres) don't really care about him it seems.

Van Damme is fun to watch at these things. Like a kid in a candy store.

Lundgren gets a few moments to shine here, with the movie managing to work in a few nods to his impressive academic background
