That's exactly what it is, and especially coming from outgoing Americans it can be misinterpreted (not mention it can be even more particular when you're working on a movie set playing a deranged character), but with a few exceptions I've rarely anything else than how friendly and pleasant he is.
Rollins reveals Dolph Lundgren made it clear he wasn't planning on being pleasant to anyone when he teamed up with the former Black Flag frontman and Keanu Reeves on 1995's Johnny Mnemonic.
He explains, "That was one unpleasant acting experience. I'm a polite person and I'm like, 'Hey Dolph, I'm Henry, we're working together,' and he's like, 'Yeah...?' and I was like, 'OK, I'll just go back to my trailer.'
"Keanu Reeves was really nice, but Dolph not so much. I saw him six months later when we were doing promotion for the movie and I thought, 'Maybe he'll be friendlier,' but he hadn't thawed out yet."

4. Dolph Lundgren – Johnny Mnemonic
If this film is “famous” at all, it’s a famous flop. Famous for being a crap movie, made from a terrible script, featuring lots of awful acting. This is one of the films that really cemented Keanu Reeves’ reputation as a walking plank with a perpetual “whoa, dude” demeanor, and he doesn’t get a heck of a lot of help from the rest of the cast, either. Or the director, or the writer, or even the key grip.
In the middle of all the crap, Dolph Lundgren turns up and actually acts his ass off, playing a wild-eyed crazy with total commitment, and deviating completely from his usual ass-kicking-machine-made-of-stone roles. Nearly every (universally scathing) review of the film singled out Lundgren’s performance as being far and away the best thing about the film.
