Server downtime

Postby Lorphos on 10 May 2012, 01:22

Sorry about the server downtime, we have changed the operating system running in the background and it took longer than anticipated due to stability issues.

If you notice anything that is not yet working, please let me know here.

Known problems as of 2012-05-10 00:22: No email is being sent.

Hi guys,

the server is still facing some network problems, so the forum might be off from time to time until we notice and fix it. Fix is quick and normally we notice it quickly. But especially during the night it might take a few hours. Because sometimes we actually sleep. ;-)

Sorry for the inconvenience. Our BAFH is frantically looking for the root of evil.

I noticed a very high load yesterday morning due to large amounts of incoming spam mails and adjusted some settings. Let me know if the problem persists.

I just upgraded the tapatalk plugin. The forum has now push messages enabled for tapatalk users.

I also removed the javascript popup that you get when you visit the forum with your browser on a mobile device since a lot of people find it annoying.

Enjoy, and let me know if you notice any problems.

I just updated the board to the latest greatest version of phpBB. Sorry about the downtime.

I will upgrade the Tapatalk plugin next.

FWIW, we disabled ads in tapatalk so you will not have ads forced upon you while reading this forum on a mobile device.

The tapatalk update is finished, tapatalk is up-to-date. Let me know if you encounter any problems.

You don't need to sign-up for a tapatalk id... but it's not so obvious :)

Scroll down on the initial screen until you can see "+ Add account", then enter "Dolph" and pick "Ultimate Dolph" from the list of forums.
