Love that Japanese artwork.

The film itself is okay. Quite fun. I enjoyed it for having Dolph all the way through, leading the film. He seemed engaged too and it didn't take itself too seriously. It's just a shame the budget was so low, the action so cheap looking and just unclear because of the shaky cam. Again, I guess that's a stylistic choice in order to shoot quickly and hide the fact they shot this for about 3 cents.
I'd place it above HR and B.O.R but I didn't quite enjoy it as much as Package which though wasn't brilliant, just had a bit more assurance in direction, a little more budget and Dolph was very interesting in it. Cast were okay.

I'll post my full review when it goes live on release date.

The Japanese art work makes it look like the best movie ever!

The actual movie is, sadly, not very good.

I mean there's definitely enough there, in the story, to have made it a super cool little action flick but it's very unengaging to watch. It suffers from the same problem that The Walking Dead TV show does - the zombies pose no threat whatsoever. In a good zombie movie you feel that frantic fear of trying to keep away from the, virtually, unkillable zombies. The slightest scratch on your body would turn you into one of them. In BOTD you couldn't care less about the hordes of undead cannon fodder. (just like in the boring soap opera called "The Walking Dead")
Spring, era jävlar!

I think it's a good crop despite obvious flaws, lots of efforts have been put into it.

AICN posted a red band trailer that doesn't seem to be available outside of the U.S.
A valid argument for creating military killer humanoid robot death machines! Leave it to Dolph!

Hey folks, Harry here... I feel terrible. Flu has me hacking and yet... I saw this. This... SOOPER GENIUS in the guise of the next Dolph Lundgren PPV and Blu debut flick called BATTLE OF THE DAMNED. I thought perhaps I wouldn't kneejerk react this way, but Robot Death Machines were meant for large urban zombie warfare. Super Genius. And so damn entertaining. It can only be a Christmas Miracle. Yes, that's what BATTLE OF THE DAMNED looks like... a holiday classic. Who doesn't want this movie in their stocking? BEHOLD and be in awe...
