I never heard of it (and wasn't as aware of what was going in the U.S.) but remember similar costly phone services for theatrical releases in France. Like for TOTAL RECALL you'd phone and there would be some kind of radio advertising of the film with the score, and a recorded message of Arnold saying in French like, "Hi, this Arnold Schwarzenegger, I'm happy to be with you" and that was it!

Here it was Jeff Jensen*, who also doubled him on JOSHUA TREE and THE SHOOTER. But you can see here (he has a harness on the first pic) he did most of his stunts himself, even some of the repelling down the Hoover Dam.

* Wade Eastwood in the late 90s (met on SWEEPERS, not related to Clint, also did BLACKJACK, BRIDGE OF DRAGONS, THE LAST PATROL), Dian Hristov (THE MECHANIK, DIRECT CONTACT, COMMAND PERFORMANCE, stunt coordinator on ONE IN THE CHAMBER and SKIN TRADE) and Tony Messenger (met on first EXPENDABLES) nowadays.

That's mostly a word for word translation of the English posters. The title is exactly Universal Soldier.

The bit above the names translates to 'From the producers of "Terminator" the first names in action!' Which I never saw on anything else.

The tagline on the left is

Almost Human
Almost Perfect
Almost Controlled

Just like the English ones.
