Producer Benjamin Sacks told me that this movie is in very early planning stages and that nothing is confirmed yet. They will come official in a few weeks.

They don't want to say things too early (even though they still seem far from filming I wouldn't call "in early stages" a film that has been of public knowledge for 9 months or so), it can be bad for their relationship with the stars if the deal is not 100% closed (notably with someone like Seagal who could bail at anytime), and it seems that ad with Seagal and Hauer was emailed out to professionals and wasn't supposed to be shared like it did.

Of course, this photo must be from 1991 at the lastest (not that Hauer's is recent either)...

According to IMDB Michael Dudikoff has also joined in this with Seagal, Hauer and the waste of space Gianni Capaldi...

Plus the "great" Costas Mandylor. And Giorgio Serafini and James Coyne (scribe and co-director of A CERTAIN JUSTICE/PUNCTURE WOUNDS) get a hand at the rewrites. This gets better and better!

Sounds like a poor man's Expendables to me. Sorry. Hope the guys don't read that. I still have much respect for Rutger Hauer. He's been in some great movies, for example my all time fav The Blade Runner. Too bad his career faded. Wonder what went wrong. Bad choices?
