This could have a decent budget behind it...

I'm wondering because the game is apparently an app that has been successful and downloaded million of times so depending on who's behind it, it could be okay... not great but at least decent for a DTV shot in Mexico and more in the lines of his films shot before 2010...

bomaz wrote:Plus, it seems to be produced by Dolph ? (according to some facebook hashtags, not the msot reliable source I admit ^^).

Humm probabbly the now usual honorific / business credit of executive producer"... (Can't produce a film by getting on to it last minute and see how long the movies he's really producing take to make... and from knowing him and hiw other personal projects, a (shoot'em up) zombie flick is definitely not something that would be dear enough to his heart to produce it himself).

Actress Autumn Reeser (THE GIRL NEXT DOOR, ENTOURAGE, THE OC) is in DEAD TRIGGER as well.

So it is! I loved that guy in Exit Wounds, very charismatic. Sort of sighed and rolled by eyes when I heard about this one but the on-set pics look fun at least, here's hoping it packs a bit more punch than Battle of the Damned.

This shows some potential.
Make up and zombie-effects look ambitious and the cast is above averege.
Any Idea how long Dolph is/was on set?

Cool to see the punisher look make a comeback.

This may have a decent budget by today's DTV standards.
Dolph's been on set for the past couple of weeks since the shoot started.

I'm really intrigued to know who the director is. I've seen on imdb that the fight choreographer (and stunt man) is a solid one (worked on Thor, Captain America who besides their crappy global quality, at least enjoy fine action and stunts, and Teen Wolf, where the action is well made for thins kind of show).

I hate this shot in DTV movies. So amateur and uncinematic.

Is there any chance this might actually be a TV pilot?

What are you referring to: the flat alignement of characters with their guns blazing, or the desaturation of colors (which here is clearly done quickly from Instagram by whoever posted it first) ?

The flat alignment of characters in an open space like that. It occurs in plenty of DTV films and it's so static and lame and not remotely realistic. The picture is just filtered on facebook or instagram I assumed.

The director is Mike Cuff, who comes from the UK, with a background in theatre and commercials mainly
