Info on the movie. Wish I could read Japanese.

Adverts for Yes Asia. Left catalog features Runaway Train, Missing in Action 2, Blow Out, Scorpio, The Dogs of War, and Dream Child. Middle is for Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles and The Time Tunnel. Right is the three movies released in conjunction with Punisher: Death Wish 3, Boys From Brazil, and The Diamond Mercenaries.

Don't mention it.
The Punisher was the first exploitation film I ever saw. I was about twelve or so when they played it on tv. I just loved the grittiness, the brutality of the violence, the creepy ambient music. The damnedest thing though, I have a completely different memory of the goon being killed in the mirror room. I could have swore that Dolph had his knife sticking out of his boot and he KICKED through the ceiling impaling the goon in the cranium. The scene happens really fast so maybe my mind misinterpreted what I saw.
Memory is a funny thing, huh?

Very cool. 8) I saw it at age 10 and half, it definitely leaved a mark when you saw it that young.

Yeah that's probably the product of a false memory/interpretation/fantasy indeed...

Initially, I was very adamant that Dolph's name be included in the title, but seeing the mock-ups, I think that the first option is the way to go.

The Punisher
The Untold Story of an 80's Cult Classic

Although, this one is a close second

Dolph Lundgren's
The Punisher
The Uncut, Underground History

For me it’s either

”Dolph Lundgrens The Punisher: The untold underground history”

or...

”Marvel, Dolph Lundgren and The Punisher”
