Yeah, just not so long ago it had been made clear that it was not possible to make Lundgren and Langella-based movie figures...
What wasn't clear to me before was like Super 7 who took over the MOTU Classics line from MattyCollector label/brand got the MOTU license from Mattel to handle make their line independently from Mattel (like when studios like Fox and MGM sublicense the rights of their catalogue titles to indie labels who will would make BR editions of our DL classics), so they put a lot more personal investment to produce those. And it probably took some time and effort to clear the movie likeness with William Stout for the costumes (who didn't give all his rights back then, which is why his designs were not in the 2015 art book), and of course Dolph and Langella...
