SWEET!

Yeah I'm pretty sure it won't be as action-packed as they want us to believe it will, but it looks really good and Dolph looks badass... Glad Nu Image got a website at last...

Nice going TombRaider :D, I wonder why Dolph had the War Paint on  8).

How big is his role in this picture again? I know we already have a discussion on this in another thread but Dolph only had limited time in the trailer.

Nice.
The production values look good but it´s hard to tell for sure.
I dont think Dolphs role is that big. Think he is sort of a sidekick to the hero.
It´s cool that he is doing a supporting role.

Seems like Dolph will have a Mani type role as in Brotherhood of the Wolf. The trailer isn't a decent quality, so it's hard to fully judge on how good the cinemtography will look. However from the trailer, it looks pretty lavish. I'd say the budget was around $15mill. Dolph will kick ass I bet.

The thing is the quality of the compression is pretty bad, but I think we can see him quite a bit in the battle scenes... But yeah let's not fool ourselves, there's quite a lot of characters in this movie, and the story doesn't focus on him (I believe his character was added and is not in the 1986 version) so don't expect his screen time to be enormous... BUT he's a slave and bodyguard to the lead and he will be following him on his journey. He has second billing name but obviously Nu Image wants to capitalize on his presence (like Johnny Mnemonic where he only had like 10 mins on screen)...

And if there's any hope at all of the DVD being released here in the UK? We're still waiting for non-rental versions of Detention and Direct Action, for crying out loud!

THE INQUIRY - a quick interview with Giulio Base

Postby Jox on 14 Nov 2006, 17:30

Here's a few questions I directly asked to Giulio Base, the director of THE INQUIRY:

- Well, can you tell me how you got involved in the project, how the idea of a remake came up and how was the cast set up?

The producer called me and I said YES! He had the idea of the remake and he let me free to choose the actors I really wanted

- What's the approx. budget? ($15-20 million?)

Probably

- How did Dolph Lundgren get involved and how was working with him?

Dolph he's an intelligent man and a very kind humain being. I also think that he gave to THE INQUIRY a huge performance as an actor

- Are you happy with the final cut?

Yes, very much.

- Finally, is it supposed to be a theatrical or a TV movie?

Both.

Apparently THE INQUIRY will be aired on RAI Italian TV chanel in two parts of 100 minutes (I think they want to air it on Easter). The theatrical version should be around 120-130 minutes.
